CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

the movie was very interesting, and funny at times...when the parents turned into pigs...my friend was hysterical

I love Mayazaki's works! I have seen just about everyone of his movies. I adore spirited away I can watch that movie again and again and again. I own Leputa:castle in the sky its quite different from the others but in the way it has the same style. Princess monoke is pretty powerful. My Neighboor tortor is just too CUTE!

It's one of my favorites. I love Totoro, Kiki, and Castle too. Mononoki was my least favorite, but the animation is beautiful! I want Totoro rereleased in subtitles now.

Spirited Away is one of the most beautiful movies I have ever watched. I still have yet to catch any of his other movies, but I will be trying to buy some more this month (for my birthday).
My family came over my house for dinner, and I put this movie on for my 3 yr old niece. She didn't move an inch while watchiing, and when it was finished, she forced me to put it back on for her

my brother calls her a terrorist. She can run riot in the house, but we couldn't move her while she was watching Spirited Away. I was looking at her thinking hopefully this is a movie that she'll love to watch when she's older and remember how it made her feel watching it when she was young

Spirited Away is the best movie! Been trying for ages to get hold of a copy of Princess Mononoke on eBay but I can't find anything in english!
