  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I can not wait for it to come out. I have it marked on my calender. I'm taking my vacation the following week. Guess where I'll be spending it. I saw 'Spider-Man' five times at the theater. I'm thinking abot beating that.

I really enjoyed "Spider-Man", also!

And from what I'm hearing, the fx on 2 are WAY ahead of S-M!

Plus, the storylines of Peter and Harry, and Peter and MJ, seem to be right in line with the first film.

Now all we need is a "Hal Jordan" film!!

I bought the SUPERBIT of the first movie; it had a free ticket inside to see Spider-Man 2, so I'll be there opening day. :)
Call the theater ahead of time, to see if they honor that free movie pass at this time or not.
They may make you wait a couple of weeks, before you can use it.

Leonard Maltin, who I consider a reputable critic, said it was better than the first one, and said something along the lines of "if all comic book movies were like this, we would be a lot better off"-- paraphrasing. He doesn't get excited about c.b. movies, but he loved this one.

Well, the second one had Jameson's son in it. In the FOX animated series, didn't the alien symbiote come to earth via John (was that his name?) Jameson? Maybe in the third one, John will go to outer space, something happens, he comes back down to earth bringing the symbiote with him; heck, maybe (wishful thinking) the second one will show him going to outer space, and in the third one, he comes down to earth with the symbiote.
