Exactly and also someone may get an inturpretation for what is spoken in tongues and be too shy to speak it out.
Still you must be careful that you only speak in tongues out loud when God leads you to and pray silently the rest of the time.

and just this morning alone in my room i was seeking the Lord about some problems in my life but through all the prayer and worship i just couldnt feel any release or peice.... untill i began to pray in the spirit, praying in tongues, my blessed prayer language, (becuase paul said praying in tongues is your spirit praying) and i felt that burden lift and leave me, and im so blessed... i really felt the restoring hand of God on my life.

but it came through praying in the spirit, praying in tongues.

well... that wasnt what i was trying to do. im sorry.... if someone disagrees with my view on this, i wasnt going to try and change them.
this was my first response to this thread.
i was just trying to bring up a few points.

Tongues has also been useful to me in the same way. I'm not a big talker and I'm not very good with words (spoken) but I can pray in the Spirit for hours on end.
