To go into all the details, would take too long and besides, I fear many would not understand and try to judge on what they don't know, so I will just put out the very basic need and trust that God places this in the hands of those that should have it.

We need to move, the problem is that we live in poverty and cannot afford to move. Many times we have talked of selling everything and running away, problem is, that would leave behind debt that we don't believe is Godly to leave behind. So we spend time looking for additional work, better job, or starting our own business, so that we can move.

We have lived in our current house 7 years now. When we first moved here, God gave us the grace to deal with it but progresively things have gotten worse. We work 7 days a week, are unable to go to church, have no friends, extended family problems, etc. that adds to the pain. It got so bad that our 14 year old son ran away from home a year or so ago, looking for someplace for us to move. We were able to talk him into coming home for a while but he is showing signs of preparing to leave again. He is too young and immature to understand anything except that we need to move, that he needs to move. I have a feeling that he is starting to feel rejected by God on this issue, a feeling we fight daily but we have a much more mature faith than he does. Please pray that we can keep our son home until he is old enough to tackle the world and that God takes us home whether that is equipping us to live here or allowing us to move, we would be thrilled with either.

Dearest one,

Your title touched my heart so much because I am also fighting to accomplish the same for differing reasons and in a very different age bracket, my son is 23.

He has been out on his own also and returned to us 3 times now. He is a drug abuser, a Christian, and a joy to behold. He also fights enormous odds all around that make him just shy of ready to be on his own successfully.

This request will be easy for me to remember, because it is the same as mine in basic need. Loving our children is only done well in great sacrifice and the taxation upon our own health and stamina is compounded by crisis times.

Jesus, Lord, Protector, Creator, Power and Loving Grace,
I lift razzelflabben, her son and her husband to Your Throne of Grace and Mercy, Jesus. It is a great time of testing for her son and You are using this whole thing even now to shape him into the man You want him to be. Favor his days, always. PArt the sea and turn the storm, end the battle and grant Your perfect deliverance as SOON as Your purpose is wrought in him. Test him no more than is necessary, for Your Glory, Jesus.

Creat the oppurtunity to lift the whole family into Your blessing upon them. Grant them the eyes to see, the ears to hear and the courage to move forward in Your Chosen direction. Be clear, as I know it is not Your Will that we be parted from Your Purpose for our lives. Knit this family together in this time ogreat stress and create and forge bonds with each of them, together and with Yourself to prepare them ever for the days ahead of them. BE their strength, courage, mercy, providence and joy. Fill them with the 'wine of the Spirit' to sustain them beyond their own understanding. Help them to see the wire ahead, to forge forward and to break it for Your Glory, as they WIN THE RACE.

Grant them peace and rest in Your Spirit, NOW, in the midst of these days. Deliver them, for Your Glory. Amen

I will keep you and your family in my daily prayers. My family and I are going through a tuff time with our son. Only he is 8. He was recently diagnosed with ADHD and oppostional defiant disorder. Today was the first time he ran away from home. Having to call the police was the hardest thing to do. It's hard feeling as though there is no where to turn. But always remember the Lord is with you at all times. Keep your faith grounded in the Lord. May times we feel as though God isn't listening to us, but he's there. I have been down this road many times.
Father God in Heaven, We thank you for all that you have given this family. We thank You for Your warring Angels that are here to protect the everyday. We pray that You would be with this family. We ask that You would fill their lives with peace beyond all understanding. Send Your warring angels to continue to camp around their home and to always protect them from harm and pain. We give You Golry and Honor for the hedge of thorns around this family. Precious Lord and Savoir, we ask that You anoint them with Your Holy Spirit from the top of their heads to the soles of their feet. We ask that Your healing power would flow through their bodies. We praise you Lord Jesus.
Open only the doors that lead to Your success and Your Victory. We Glorify You Lord Father. Amen

razzelflabben, I just stopped in to lift your need to the Lord. I read "praisinggod"s reply. A good prayer warrior prayer there. When I got to the:
...Open only the doors that lead to Your success and Your Victory. We Glorify You Lord Father. Amen
I thought:
...and if you are anything like me, bolt shut the doors that aren't of You, so that we don't claw them open.
I can be pretty stubborn about trying out all avenues and even walk down the wrong ones. Despite myself, the Lord even works those out for good...but, they often cause unnecessary trouble for me.

So, to 'praisinggod's prayer, I'll add the thought above. And, Lord make the path CLEAR and EVIDENT, as we know it is not your purpose to confound us in your blessing of us. Grant us discernment and wisdom and patience as we choose Your path in Honor of You, for Your glory.

Thanks for all the prayers, it is a daily test of faith that takes us from one day to another. Everytime we think we are on the verge of something, something goes wrong and we start all over again. God is good however and we will continue for as long as God gives us grace and since I believe His word, I shall continue as though His grace will always be sufficient.

 I want you to know that I too am struggling with a 14 year old & I will lift you & your son up in prayer. Know that no matter how big what you are facing seems, God is bigger still. Expect God to move. Remember that sometimes God is the still small voice in the midst of the storm. Listen... look... pay attention to the small things... you'll see Him there. He cares about every detail of your life.

Blessings!!!

Oh God, you heard my mother's prayers and gave us places to live that brought joy to our hearts and gave us a good outlet for our energy. Accept my gratitute for your grace, and in the name of all you have given my family, please accept my prayers for these people. Please give this family a home that warms their heart and relieves their tension, instead of a place that makes them feel depressed and frustrated. Please give them a home where they can enjoy your great good Earth and learn first-hand about your love in creating each of us.

Yesterday was an especially hard day around here, it was so uplifting and encouraging to come here and read your posts and know that even though we are on the battlefield, wounded, help is on the way. You have reminded me that we have not been forgotten and abandoned. Today we continue the struggle but with a new hope that I am trusting will soon bloom into an answer or at least part of the answer.

Thank you for all your prayers, I have prayed for each of you this day and thanked God for you and how much you have touched our lives.

We would further appreciate your prayer in this matter. My father has agreed to purchase a business for us if the numbers all work out. The business would increase our current income by about 3-4 times this would allow us to get out of poverty and save for the land that our son and entire family need so badly. My father is a real sceptic of life in general and basically offered to do this is a way of proving that he knows more than anyone else. That is okay with me in that God can overcome even the skeptic and the skepicism will help to ensure a good business adventure. It might also help him to deal with the resent he has held against his father for most of his life. (long story) anyway, thanks for the prayers.
