Somerimes it's easy to say that this time is for sure.
Sometimes it's easy to ignore your past.
Sometimes it's easy to run away.
Sometimes it's easy to pretend.
Sometimes it's easy to forget, but sometimes it's not.

I have sworn to follow Him in his walk with me.
I would close my eyes and try to feel his presence.
When I open my eyes His footsteps are gone.
I backtrack to the last sight of them.
I fear that one day that backtracking won't be enough.

I fear that I will lose what is dearest to me.
He is more than my children....
more than my school....
more than my career....
and much more than me.

This is the time to pray for my soul, but I'm afraid that I have forgotten how. I am a very cynical person. I am all about the fine print in things? My heart believes, but my mind is having doubts. How do I erase those doubts without losing the very soul that I am trying to protect? I don't want to erase the person that I am. I just want to make that person into the man that He will welcome into his home.

I used to have very bad issues with guilt and condemnation, that is not of God. We will feel conviction from the Holy Spirit when we do things that grieve the Lord, but there is a big difference in conviction and condemnation. Once we are saved through Jesus Christ, our sins are forgiven and forgotten. When God sees us He no longer sees our sins, He sees the innocent blood of Jesus and we are covered.
Keep your eyes on the Lord friend, He will not let go of you!

Praise the Lord!!! Eric know that God has heard your prayer. This is a huge step you have taken in working out your salvation. Lift all your worries and cares to the Lord. Leave them in his hands, fear not he is with you, you will not lose your soul. For if God is for you, who can be against you...When you pray simply talk with him as your would to a best friend. I have been so blessed to meet great christians who helped me get on the right track. They engrained it into me that having a relationship with Jesus is the most important thing in life. Having a relationship with him is to tell him all our worries and cares. Giving him praise and thanks for all he has done and will continue to do for you, for his Grace and many blessings. God has given us authority over satan. Speak to the spirts that block your relationship, cast them out in Jesus name. God will do the the rest, if you can rest in him... God Bless!!!

Father God grant wisdom to our brother Eric, guide him O Lord unto the path you have chosen for him. Let your presence be known to him. Surround him with a hedge of protection and fill him with thy Holy Spirit. In Jesus name I pray giving praise and thanks for showing our brother his many blessings and helping him to open his heart to receive all you have to give. Amen

Jesus talked to things. You should too.

sickness. You should talk to the devil. Tell them to leave.
Tell them to "be removed."

Eric dear, God does not look at your brain just your heart. And as long as you are seeking him with your heart, you will find Him. God did not make us to be perfect else why would we need Him. You will never be perfect or make everything perfect on this side of eternity. Trying to be perfect will drive you crazy and everyone around you. Let go and Let God. Lord I pray your son will do his best and stand back and see his work and know he has done his best and now he can spend more time thank you for trying to please you more than himself. Lord reach out to him and give him strength and courage to be able to accept somethings as being acceptable to you and not waste his time on making material things his gods but making his life for you and his family better to serve you.
