Something weird

If someone were to ask me how old I am, and I answered quickly without thinking I'd say 19. Or something else younger. Then I realize that I'm not that young anymore. I think it always takes me at least half a year to figure out how old I really am. I think one year it took me almost a year to get used to being a year older.... I wonder if I'll always do that now.

Does anyone else get confused about their age?

Yes! I do too. I just always tell everyone I'm 19, because if I shave I can pass that easily. I'm an old man now, and just keep getting older, so I just picked an age and stuck with it.

Nope. I've a few more years till I start saying I'm younger than I am. It would look questionable if I was telling people I was 19 while carrying my 2 year old, holding the hand of my 3 yo and trying to get my 5yo to stand still. Maybe when I'm a little closer to 30.

well, i'm 33 and most people don't think that i am that old. I have always looked young for my age. I used to hate it. Now i love it.

Sometimes people think I'm older than I am, and sometimes people think I'm younger than I am... it's really weird. But it always amuses me.

Its take me a while to get used to getting a year older. I'll be turn 20 in a few months, which is deadly startleing. I am simply stunned that I wont be a teenager anymore. Simply insane. Most people think I look 17 instead of 19.

No, but I stopped feeling older after 22. It's as if I'm stuck at that age. Of course, when I reach 30, that's going to be different.

It used to be a shock to my system, but when I turned 23 and 24 it just felt real and natural like anything else really... I wonder what 25 will feel like!

Actually it is funny, I do the same thing. I'm 21, but sometimes think I'm 19 or 20, and sometimes 22. It's weird, sometimes I think I'm older or younger than I am.

Nope. I have no reason to get weird about my age. Though, the older I get, the younger people think I am, ironically. I've been getting in better and better shape over the years though, which is why.

Haha I just turned 20 about a week or so ago and I have been asked my age several times, I still feel like a teenager, Although now, I am not one...lol

*sigh* I have the OPPOSITE problem. People look at me an assume that I'm 17 or 18, but in reality, I'm going to be 21 next month. The worst is when my husband and I go to town with his 5 year old brother (there's 19 years between them) We get strange looks and I have actually had people if I was 13 when I started having kids. Kind of annoying....

^i go through the same. People think im 15 and then when I correct them they are like, "oh my, really??" lol

I always think I am 23. After the magical 21, I seems to lose track of how old I really am.

I'm 31, but I don't feel like any particular age. Most people I meet guess that I'm around 25, but I'm not sure it really matters. Once you hit 21, you're an adult with all the privledges, and it pretty much evens out from there. I've met some young 40 year olds, and I've met some jaded old 20 year olds. A lot of what we percieve as age comes down to attitude and outlook... but the passage of years is inevitable if you're blessed with a long life.
