I recently read a few posts on another forum I came across that has made me sad. I was a forum i shouldn't have even been reading, But i continued reading out of curiosity. It was a white supremacy board. I'm not even white, so i was just trying to understand some of their hatred. I feel that when one sees something so ugly as racism, and the words/thoughts that it produces, one starts loosing hope for a moment. I'm sure i'm not the only one in here who has dealt with things like this before, But I wish there was a way i could scrub it from my mind. How people could be so cruel to someone based on their color alone. or based on what they believe in. So I guess i'm just looking for some encouraging words on how I can try to ignore this evil that exists in America and other parts of the world.

Just remember that this type of hatred is rooted in IGNORANCE.

Galatians 3:28
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

John 7:24
Do not judge by appearances, but judge with right judgment.”

Romans 10:12
For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, bestowing his riches on all who call on him.

1 John 2:9
Whoever says he is in the light and hates his brother is still in darkness.

James 2:9
But if you show partiality, you are committing sin and are convicted by the law as transgressors.

Romans 2:11
For God shows no partiality.

1 Corinthians 12:12-13
For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ. For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—Jews or Greeks, slaves or free—and all were made to drink of one Spirit.

John 13:34
A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.

Genesis 1:27
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.

Colossians 3:10-11
And have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge after the image of its creator. Here there is not Greek and Jew, circumcised and uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave, free; but Christ is all, and in all.

Ephesians 6:9
Masters, do the same to them, and stop your threatening, knowing that he who is both their Master and yours is in heaven, and that there is no partiality with him.

Matthew 7:12
“So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.

Acts 10:34-35
So Peter opened his mouth and said: “Truly I understand that God shows no partiality, but in every nation anyone who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to him.

Luke 10:25-37
And behold, a lawyer stood up to put him to the test, saying, “Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?” He said to him, “What is written in the Law? How do you read it?” And he answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.” And he said to him, “You have answered correctly; do this, and you will live.” But he, desiring to justify himself, said to Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?” ...

Revelation 7:9
After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands,

Ephesians 2:14-15
For he himself is our peace, who has made us both one and has broken down in his flesh the dividing wall of hostility by abolishing the law of commandments expressed in ordinances, that he might create in himself one new man in place of the two, so making peace,

I wouldn't worry too much about it. I would suspect that most people on the White Supremacy message board are probably just cowardly folks who yell on the internet because they know they'd get a beating if they said that kind of stuff to a person's face.

People will always be mindful, or even hate those who are different then them, both for race and creed. Ironically, a black man and a white man bleed the same red blood. A Christian and a Hindu both laugh and cry and play. The key to eliminating this bigotry is removing ignorance, and embracing all of humanity as one of your own. Because the man next to me, is the "other me".

I know what you're talking about- I sometimes go lurk on boards all over the spectrum- out of sheer curiosity. Pity them. It takes a lot of energy to hate people. Also, please remember that they're not really even representative of most people. A lot of people hold ignorant views because they don't know better. However, these folks go beyond ignorant. They tend to use pseudo-science in a sad attempt to back up their views. They need prayer- and they can be hard to pray for- which is all the more reason.

Yes, they believe their or lies so much that it scares me. at the end of the day I just have to think that the internet is the real world. Sometimes i'm going to see something that truly upsets me. And people behind the screen will say even nastier things because they know they are in the safety of anonymity
in their own homes. When i see something like that that upsets me, I have to come to communities such as this and be around good hearted people. People who would call me my brother because they truly care for another human being. :)

Stormfront or which board? How did you get there?

I am big into guns and followed a search for something specific that took me to Stormfront once. I was researching something obscure like a Taurus CT G2 or similar rumored but deleted from production type thing. I know what you mean about getting sucked into reading even though it is painful. I found myself going along like watching a train-wreck, hoping someone would say something redeeming or meaningful. . . but it never happened, I gave up and forgot about that til this thread reminded me. Yeah, there are truly some dumb people out there and I guess that is where they go after they get banned from normal people's gun forums.

 God bless you, my Brother!

Mourning for iniquity in our land such as this, is a sign of Godliness

2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."

It's not about what they do, it's about what we do, because greater is He that is in us, than he that is in the world.

I am so sorry you saw those forums. I got into an argument with a grand dragon from the KKK in California over emails, and he had to ignore history, genetics and most forms of rational thought to support his basis that Jews were this or that, and that Jesus wasn't really a Jew blah blah blah. I eventually had to give up because there was no point in continued discussion with him.
The best you can do is strive to educate and keep a soft and kind heart towards everyone, and reject those philosophies that are obviously wrong. Pax.

Yes! They just throw out all known fact and history and make turn everything to support their view. It's unbelievable. History from ancient times up to Nazi germany and now. It's really unbelievable how many facts they choose to ignore.
