(The theory of) evolution is an applied science. It ain't going anywhere.

Why creationists have chosen to pick a fight with science is mystery. Historically speaking, religion has never come out on the winning side of such battles.

We're safe here in America, until the beast power takes over and imposes punishment upon deniers of evolution.

What for? Evolution doesn't deny the existence of God or His authorship of our being. Why not just relax and say, "maybe evolution really is the way He did it."

If I admitted that I wouldn't be able to relax. A fearful dread would come over me as I would be denying the power of God to create as he has so stated.

I can only present the obviously overwhelming odds against it. At a certain point improbable becomes impossible.

As stated, the odds are too overwhelming to actually figger.

Flat out false statements.

Much like your false statements about the mathematics of evolution you don't have any odds to list.

You only have a feeling that evolution is impossible and false.

Actual probabilities can be calculated... you have no calculations.

Evolution is loathe to calculate probabilities (the odds are in the 'impossible' range). If you can deny complexity you don't have to worry about odds. You can blithely assert that the impossible did happen.

God has the power to create any way He wants to. What you dread is the possibility that you might be wrong about your interpretation of what "He has so stated."

Who is denying complexity?

Only if you discount complexity. Evolution sees simplicity where I see complexity. Therefore evolution doesn't have to answer to the actual complexity of the creation.

Go home, you're drunk. ;)

I would like to hope so, but I fear it may be just because they are putting more energy and attention into the political arena.

Polling data for the last decade or so shows a steady decline. Plus demographically speaking most creationists are older and thus natural attrition over time appears to be reducing the proportion of creationists.

In order to do that you must present physical evidence which contradicts it.

The ToE will self-destruct eventually. It's just a matter of time.

Evolution can take a hike. It's a source of too much consternation.

If a scientific theory causes you anxiety and dismay, the problem isn't the theory. It's definitely a 'you' problem.

How can one understand a theory that denies complexity and design, so obvious in the things they purport to study?

Oh it's easily understandable. You're just seeing something in it that isn't there.
You've also never once shown complexity or design.

You are just making up stories.

How do you know it's improbable, let alone impossible?

Feel free to say that you believe it from a gut feeling, or as they say "personal incredulity", but if you think that's anything like a probability calculation or science, then you are talking nonsense.

After the Rapture, creationism will REALLY decline.
