some questions about Heaven

So me and my mom were talking the other day and a few things came into play. Since im not so knowledgable about this topic yet i figured id post it here.

A. Since my father passed away, what happens if my mom remarries (i wont let it happen)? Will she have two husbands in heaven? is there even such a thing in heaven?

B. If there isnt such a relationship in heaven like husband, is there a relationship such as Father? will i know my dad is my dad their, and i was his son? or will he juist be known as a "Loved one"?

C. Now i know they have jobs up there, for this i am sure. But what kind of jobs? or do they not have them? obviously they cant have scientific jobs or anything like that. SO i wonder what they do?

i have a few more, but these are the most important onesf or now.

You have to keep in mind that when a person is saved, they are born again, a new creature in Christ, new - brand new, never existed before. Its hard for us to realize who we really are while we are still attached to these bodies.

Relationships. It seems like I've heard it said 'we will know as we were known'. So I think we will recognize people that were in our families, friends, even people we didn't care for. I'm sure we will be surprised at who makes it to heaven. Remember that the Apostles had no problem recognizing Christ when he came back in his resurrection body and John or Peter one said that we don't know what we will be, but we know we will be like him.

Jobs. I'm not sure but God gave us many wonderful things with which to occupy ourselves on earth and I'm confident that heaven will be far more exciting.

okay. So then if we "know as we were known", what if a person has two husbands and both make it to heaven? you arent male or female, but will you recognize that both were husbands?

also, becuase you recognize these relationships, i will know my dad was my dad? so then we will have earth memories as well? both good and bad?

Revelation 21:4 declares, “He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”

that makes sense. But you wont be married, what do you recognize that or those people as? just a loved one? do you recognize any special bond between the two?

so will i recognize my father, but not my wife, whenever i do get married?

When Christ was resurrected people recognized Him.. I am assuming we will recognize people.

yea, so i will recognize my dad. I wonder if we will remember and reminisce on certain things on earth (good and bad)?

my mom will recognize him as well, but not as a husband. I wonder what they will be defined as if their is no marriage in heaven??

We are brothers and sisters in the Lord.. Here on earth we have other titles such as mom and dad and husband and wife.. But in Christ we are brethren..

so then you dont remember what you did on earth? yet you know that he is your father in heaven? so i guess you create everything from scratha gain?

also, if he watches down on me and sees what im doing, he will understand it. But not recognize anything previous to the point of his death between us?

The Bible does say that we'll build our own houses and grow our own food but other than that it is silent.

I figure that with God as our teacher and guide He'll take us through the universe (some 100 billion stars for each 125 billion galaxies) and show us all the beautiful worlds and all the varied life-forms (plant, insect and animal) He has made. That will occupy how many years (just to visit)?

In heaven, as children of God, we will be judges; rulers and authorities of all that exsist, and because of this our memories of our previous life is nessesary in order that we may be righteous judges. We will remember eveything, yet will are eternal and perfect and our mind is renewed in perfection. Our purpose is totally different and commited to the relationship between God and creation. This is why God established the body of Christ, so that is eternity we can be the liberty that creation needs to commune with the almighty God.

You will know your father; your mother; your wife, but not in the same sense becuase we will be all as one for the sole purpose of being the holy children of God that have dominion over all things through Christ Jesus.

We will rule all that He shows us, which is more that just animals and insect life.

i didnt really have these questions until know, but its good you know who people are. I guess you meet them right when you go up their and have a party or something.
