Just joined here. I joined with interest in finding a Christian Retreat or maybe some help finding this:
I'm looking to take about a week-long personal spiritual retreat (not too far from Texas) just to refresh and spend some time with God, away from all the hubbub, before my second deployment to Afghanistan. I am looking for somewhat of a working ranch style place (or somewhere with horses) with Godly people to converse with. Kind of just like a Cowboy Church for a week or so. Nothing spectacular, don't even need a roof to stay under, just a place to pitch a tent.
I have spent a long time on the computer trying to find a place like this, but haven't quite found the right one. If anyone has an insight to something similar to this, please feel free to email or message me!
