But do you agree that in 2 Timothy 3:16-17 St. Paul is speaking about the nature of Scripture? Or is he speaking about something else?

Actually, Peter is the Rock in Matt 16:18. That's the plain meaning of the text. Whether or not Peter's successors have any authority apart from the office of Bishop or Presbyter is another matter.

This passage of Roman's doesnt even come close to proving SS. This passage DOES NOT say scripture alone.

Your mistaken dear friend. Of course it proves the sufficiency of Sola Scriptura. Although it was only one of many passages provided. Why does Romans 10:17 prove the sufficiency of Sola Scriptura? The passage in Romans 10:17 says "Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God" If there is no Word of God there is no faith and if there is no faith there is no salvation because we are saved by God's grace "through faith" *Ephesians 2:8
The passage is a direct reference to the scriptures showing that faith is by the Word of God through hearing the Word of God or reading the Word of God with hearing coming from the scriptures that are heard or read.

There is no salvation without Gods Word. Perhaps you did not consider these scriptures provided below that disagree with your claims in your post here.

Romans 10:17 Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are you saved through faith (faith comes by the Word of God); and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God

Romans 14:23 ...whatsoever is not of faith is sin

2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness

Matthew 4:4 Man does not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.

According to the scriptures no word = no faith and no faith = no salvation. Now how about you prove that scripture is not all sufficent?

Ignoring God's Word does not make it disappear. According to the scriptures our salvation is only by faith in God's Word and if there is no word there is no faith which means there is no salvation.

If we are only saved by God's Grace through faith and faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God how can you have faith when there is no Word? Ignoring God's Word does not make it disappear. If one does away with Gods' Word they do away with their own salvation. Jesus warns us not to follow the traditions and teachings of men that break the commandments of God in Matthew 15:3-9. What does this thread teach?

No it doesn't. Only God's Word is true and we should believe and follow it over the teachings and traditions of men that seek to break the commandments of God according to Jesus *Matthew 15:3-9 and Peter *Acts of the Apostles 5:29. Why not accept that Sola Scriptura is all sufficient and is biblical as shown directly from the scriptures here click me? Ignroing God's Word does not make it disappear. In the days of Jesus and the Apostles the religious teachers of the day also called Jesus of the Devil for sharing God's Word. Their fathers persecuted the prophets and the Saints for sharing God's Word and also called the Apostles and disciples of Jesus a sect as well. I believe we are in good company.
