Prophecy was a factor in my conclusion that Jesus was indeed the predicted Messiah. When talking about future prophecies it's tough not to be intrigued with how Israel is always in the news. How the frame work of a one world government develops in front of our eyes. How WW3, nukes, biological warfare, etc, all make armageddon a possibility at any moment. The moment that we developed a nuke I think that we were on the clock.
The mark of the beast, people see how the possibility of not being able to buy without a microchip is already there. I don't think the mark could be an implanted chip, but the fact that people are already chipped in their hand is definitely capable of fooling people into thinking it's the mark. In the past I thought that that technology was gonna be the mark.
I think it's a positive thing to be able to point to prophecies, and then point to current world events, and let people chew on the question "Hmm, is this really looking to you like nothing more than a 2,000 year old book of fables??"
