You have been given a direct answer from God's WORD. What do you think the scriptures mean that were shared with you?
I’m asking you. You’re the OP. You seem reluctant to answer. Why is that? Unconvinced? Or something else.

Look at that? You gave your view and supported it with scripture. That’s all I’m asking.

This is the actual Scripture verse that you have neglected to acknowledge:

“It is my judgment, therefore, that we should not make it difficult for the Gentiles who are turning to God. 20 Instead we should write to them, telling them to abstain from food polluted by idols,AA)" data-cr="#cen-NIV-27463AA" style="box-sizing: border-box; font-size: 0.625em; line-height: 22px; position: relative; vertical-align: top; top: 0px;"> from sexual immorality,AB)" data-cr="#cen-NIV-27463AB" style="box-sizing: border-box; font-size: 0.625em; line-height: 22px; position: relative; vertical-align: top; top: 0px;"> from the meat of strangled animals and from blood.AC)" data-cr="#cen-NIV-27463AC" style="box-sizing: border-box; font-size: 0.625em; line-height: 22px; position: relative; vertical-align: top; top: 0px;">
The law may have been read in every synagogue every Sabbath and the Jewish believers may have attended until they were kicked out.

But the Gentiles never went near the Jewish synagogues. They worshipped in private homes. There is nothing to say that Gentile believers were required to attend Sabbath services in Jewish synagogues.

I am a Gentile believer (Danish ancestry) therefore there is no requirement for me to attend any Jewish synagogue on their Sabbath, nor is there any requirement for me to follow Mosaic Law at all.

I am under a new law in my heart - the law of the spirit of life in Christ which has set me free from any requirement to observe Mosaic Law, including the Jewish Sabbath. The law of the spirit of life involves God's moral law that existed before Moses. The Sabbath was instituted along with the Law of Moses, and that Law is now the law of sin and death which has been replaced by the law of the spirit of life.

There is now a curse on those who try to follow the Law of Moses, including keeping the Jewish Sabbath in order to be accepted by God.

You can quote all the Scriptures you like and you can quote them in rainbow colours, but you have not persuaded me. In fact, maybe you are trying to convince yourself with all your words, rather than trying to convince others.

Do you not know, brothers and sisters—for I am speaking to those who know the law—that the law has authority over someone only as long as that person lives?
...
So, my brothers and sisters, you also died to the law through the body of Christ, that you might belong to another
...
But now, having died to what bound us, we have been released from the law, so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit, and not in the old way of the written code.

Romans 7

The Law does not apply to us since the time of Christ's death. We do not serve in the old way of the written code anymore.

Your just repeating yourself hear brother without addressing my earlier post to you that addressed every part of ACTS 15:1-21 adding back in the context you left out in sharing ACTS 15:5 which adds the contect back using v1-4 showing that the issue here was CIRCUMCISION as a requirement of salvation from the Mosaic BOOK of the law *DEUTERONOMY 31:24-26; EXODUS 24:7 not God's ETERNAL LAW (10 commandments). Please see a detailed scripture response verse by verse that you are not responding to in post # 160 linked click me.

That is actually not fully true. The believers both Jewish and gentiles met everyday to worship God and share his Word in their homes and in the temple *ACTS 2:46-47. Paul taught in the Synagoges persuding both Jews and Gentiles *ACTS 13: 14-52; ACTS 14:1; ACTS 17:1-4; ACTS 18:4. Gentile where allowed into the Synagogues to hear the Word of God but could not participate in the services except to pray. In the TEMPLE (not Synagogue) they were not allowed in the inner courts of the service but were allowed in the outer Court of the gentiles.

Christians (also called Nazarines) were not expelled from the Jewish Synagogues until 85 AD. The Jewish Synod of Jamnia, in the mid-80s of the 1st century, was responsible for excommunicating the Christians/Nazarenes from mainstream Judaism for two reasons: first, this expansion of monotheism, and second, the repudiation of Torah dietary laws and circumcision that came with the embrace of the Gentiles. Many Jewish Christians in the late 1st century found themselves aposunagogos, literally, “cast out from the synagogue.

The SHADOW laws of MOSES *EXODUS 24:7; DEUTERONOMY 31:24-26 referring to CIRCUMCISION in ACTS 15 is not God's ETERNAL LAW (10 commandments). There is no gentiles now in the NEW COVENANT. According to God's WORD all who BELIEVE and FOLLOW God's WORD in the NEW COVENANT are a part of God's ISRAEL *EPHESIANS 2:11-13; GALATIANS 3:28-29; ROMANS 9:6-8; ROMANS 2:28-29; COLOSSIANS 3:11; ROMANS 10:11-13; 1 CORINTHIANS 7:19. If you are not a part of God's ISRAEL you have no part in the NEW COVENANT promise *HEBREWS 8:10-12. Gentiles are now grafted in *ROMANS 11:13-27. You mix your shadow laws from the MOSAIC book of the law from the OLD COVENANT *DEUTERONOMY 31:24-26; EXODUS 24:7 with God's ETERNAL LAW (10 Commandments) in the NEW COVENANT that give us the knowledge of GOOD and EVIL; SIN and RIGHTEOUSNESS *ROMANS 3:20; ROMANS 7:7; 1 JOHN 3:4; PSALMS 119:172.

There is also no such thing as a Jewish Sabbath. JESUS says that the SABBATH was made for MAN
ἄνθρωπος; anthrōpos (G444) *MARK 2:27 and he is the LORD (creator) of it *MARK 2:28. The GREEK Word ἄνθρωπος; anthrōpos (G444) means HUMAN BEINGS or mankind.

The SABBATH was created on the SEVENTH DAY of the CREATION WEEK *GENESIS 2:1-3. Mankind (Adam and Eve) were created on the SIXTH DAY of the creation week. There was no JEWS when God made the SABBATH and mankind was in perfect harmony with God as there was no SIN.

Hope this helps

Your error here brother is in trying to make the scriptures read that God's LAW (10 commandments) is ABOLISHED when God's WORD says we have been "DELIVERED" from the law. Being delieved from the law is in reference to the penalty of the law which is death. Through the body of Christ our sins and old man have died which PAUL discusses in the previous chapter in *ROMANS 6:1-23.

ROMANS 6:1-12
[1], What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?

[2], God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

[3], Know you not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?

[4], Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

[5], For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:

[6], Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that from now on we should not serve sin.

[7], For he that is dead is freed from sin.

[8], Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:

[9], Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dies no more; death has no more dominion over him.

[10], For in that he died, he died to sin once: but in that he lives, he lives to God.

[11], Likewise reckon you also yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

[12], Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in the lusts thereof.

Please read the rest of ROMANS 6:1-23.

Your interpretation of the scriptures goes against all the scriptures of the NEW TESTAMENET scripture as shown here click me.

ROMANS 7:4-7
[4], Why, my brothers, you also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that you should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit to God.

[5], For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit to death.

[6], But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.

All the OLD and NEW TESTAMENT scriptures including JESUS in the NEW COVENANT teach that God's ETERNAL LAW in the NEW COVENANT has the same role it always has and that is to give us the KNOWLEDGE of what SIN is when broken *ROMANS 3:20; ROMANS 7:7; 1 JOHN 3:4.

Sorry brother only sent in all love. God's WORD does not teach lawlessness. If we continue in our sins we will die *HEBREWS 10:26-27 and those who knowingly do so do not know God *1 JOHN 2:3-4 and need to be born again *1 JOHN 3:3-10.

Hope this helps.

I’m asking you. You’re the OP. You seem reluctant to answer. Why is that? Unconvinced? Or something else.

Your post has been answered indeed with God's WORD perhaps you did not like the answer (post # 156 linked). What do you think the scriptures mean that I have posted to you? If you do not wish to discuss the scriptures posted to you then you do not have to. Just say so. You said you did not like long posts.

God bless.

I’m asking you. It’s bad form to answer a question with a question. You are obviously avoiding giving a straight answer. Why?

And I’ve changed my mind. I love long posts. So let’s hear it.

I am not avoiding any questions asked of you and have provided you with the scriptures that directly answer your questions. When I ask you what do you think those scriptures mean you avoid answering the questions asked of you.

Like I said earlier if you do not want to answer the questions asked of you then you do not have to, just say so. How about if I write you a long scripture reply after you answer my questions first? A discussion goes two ways right?

I asked you this question and provided the scriptures that answer the question which is essentially the same as the one you asked...

Is someone in a saved state before God, while continuing in known unrepentant sin or an unsaved state before God? * HEBREWS 6:4-8; HEBREWS 10:26-27; MATTHEW 7:23-24; ROMANS 8:13; GALATIANS 5:19-21; 1 JOHN 2:3-4; 1 JOHN 3:3-10; 1 CORINTHIANS 6:9-10; GALATIANS 5:19-21; EPHESIANS 5:6; COLOSSIANS 3:6.

What do the scriptures say that were posted?

Happy to have a discussion with you brother but a discussion goes two ways.

God bless.

I’m trying to get the discussion going. You keep dancing.

What’s your understanding on those who sin intentionally without repentance? Just give a straight answer. Post scripture if you must, but please explain what it means.

Yea right, sure you are brother . I genuinely would like to have a discussion with you too. Let me know when you want to have a two way discussion, it seems you do not. If you did you would have responded to the questions I asked you and the scriptures provided that answer your questions.

God bless

First, what do you think those scriptures mean? You did not read them did you.
You posted them. You tell me. When I start OPs, I answer questions directed to me. It’s common courtesy.

That is kinda sad that you preach so much on Sabbath keeping, but you are so mysterious as to what happens to one of they don’t keep it. It’s almost as if you don’t care.

1 There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.
2 For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death.
3 For God has done what the law, weakened by the flesh, could not do. By sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh,
4 in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.
5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit.
6 For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.
7 For the mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to God's law; indeed, it cannot.
8 Those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
9 You, however, are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if in fact the Spirit of God dwells in you. Anyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to him.
10 But if Christ is in you, although the body is dead because of sin, the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
11 If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you. - Romans 8:1-11

This clears it all up. If you are born again, you are not condemned. THAT is the GOSPEL. It’s not the law, which is all that the OP preaches.

Folks, believe the gospel and be free from the burden of law-keeping. It’s a millstone around your neck.

Your error here brother is in trying to make the scriptures read...

I read just what is written. You are the one adding into it:

Do you not know, brothers and sisters—for I am speaking to those who know the law—that the law has authority over someone only as long as that person lives?
...
So, my brothers and sisters, you also died to the law through the body of Christ, that you might belong to another
...
But now, having died to what bound us, we have been released from the law, so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit, and not in the old way of the written code.

Romans 7

1. The Law does not have any authority over us.
2. We died to the Law through the body of Christ
3. We have been released from the Law
4. We do not serve in the old way of the written code

Not at all it is your interpretation of ROMANS 7:6 that is the problem. Your just repeating yourself here brother. Please feel free to respond to the post and the scriptures in them that diagree with you in post # 167 linked click me. Ignoring God's WORD does not make it dissappear.

God bless
