  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

So I have this idea that what God does creatively, is allow Evolutions to take place simultaneously

Hi there,

Yes, so to make it clear, I am not saying God believes Evolution: I am saying that in order to Create, God actually allows Evolutions to compete simultaneously for the life of a believer.

You might imagine it in the context of the wedding feast: God said I am inviting Evolutions to the wedding feast and some said "I am too little evolved" or "too much evolved" or "evolved elsewhere" and God was angry and said "go out into the world and gather whatever evolution you can find, the lame, the maimed, the blind" and then someone turned up and said "apparently it doesn't matter which Evolution is invited" and God threw the one not caring out (so it was that a number of Evolutions were nit together in the celebration of the feast).

So you have like an Evolution for the brain, the heart, the arms, the legs, the butt, the sex, the lungs, the spine and all these Evolutions combine simultaneously - to form a complete creation that God sets His Seal on, that no more Evolutions enter in.

It's a sort of crazy idea, but on the other hand there is no way something set in motion that is as complex as the human body could develop the necessary response to selection pressure that does not simply disintegrate, under the weight of that pressure (in the sense that enough of a response is not mounted)

The issue between theistic and non-theistic evolutionary schemes is whether divine intervention is involved.

I think the only way to prove one over the other is whether it's highly improbably that non-theistic evolution would produce the kind of life forms we see today in the given time frame.

Let me get this straight. God doesn't believe in evolution. He is a creationist. But inorder for God to achieve life he has to allow evol, ution to happen.

How did you think up this mix match of contrary beliefs?

try appling KISS to your theologuy.
That is ' Keep it Simple Stupid.'
God created everythging by the power and authority that he has. Simple.
