  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

So how is that BLM thing going?

So you are suggesting that things will get better if we spend less? What an interesting concept. Maybe ask your boss to cut your wage because it will increase your efficiency. See how that works out.

Nice strawman.

I really didn't think it needed saying that we'd all expect value for money and that any input of funds would be used responsibly and people held to account for educational standards.

Guess I was wrong.

You can expect it, but the evidence shows that your expectations don't equate to reality.

You can't tax and spend your way out of every problem. I wish it was that simple.

I'm saying the Occidentals are feeling left behind. Think of it as the space race and the Occidentals are lagging. Kind of in the ways Caucasians are feeling their numbers dwindling in the countries they formerly built and controlled and want to see their birth rate increase.

Speak for yourself.

Well, looks like we'll have to work so that reality eventually matches our expectations. And if spending more money on education makes things worse, then what options do you see that remain re funding? I can only think of a) don't change anything or b) spend less.

Which would you choose?

Since spending more money alone doesn't get kids better educated, the schools themselves are what need to be overhauled. By that, I mean better teaching of things that matter, which doesn't include LGBTUNICORNQ++ and CRT indoctrination.

Referencing the real world. You know, ethics and morality aside, things like cars, planes, phones, etc. Things the rest of the civilizations might have been better off without and perhaps we missed out on something greater. Now we're all in the same cage.

Hey guys. Been nice talking. But seriously, I'm up to my back teeth of such negativity. All you want to do is point out problems and denigrate any solutions to solve the problems. Just quote isolated incidents and suggest it's universal. Blame it on liberals. Crt. Lgbtq. 'Orientals'. BLM. Democrats. The press. Whoever. Complain all you want. Go for your life.

But for heaven's sake, don't offer any suggestions about any practical steps you could take. That appears to be firmly in the too-hard basket.

Do you know what a dialogue is? A discussion generally held to resolve a problem. Do you know what a forum is? It's a place to exchange ideas.

Let me know when you want to do either.

I don't know about you but I like indoor plumbing central heat and air and my job is 60 miles away so I like my car. I wouldn't want to go back to living in a tee pee with only the medicine man to chant over me when I got sick

The key word is practical. You haven't offered anything practical

It unfortunately is hard to change the system without first changing those at the top. That has been ongoing for centuries so not much chance, negative as it sounds. The only option it to convince them there is something to their advantage in the betterment of the lower classes. Corporatism is not about to turn itself upside down any time soon and share. The only successful kingdoms of the past were the ones wise enough to give the people just enough to keep them reasonably happy instead of discontent. We are being told now that we will soon be happy renting everything from those at the top. Doesn't look promising.

True so to do so we must be willing to take a trade-off. The more convenience though, the more indebtedness or oppression we face.
