Very good advice. Thank you.fpr replyingIt can be frustrating at times, Broken Fence. But as one who has been "reported" by assorted posters her on C.F. 3 or 4 times over the past few years, for who knows exactly what reason (political, maybe?), I just let it roll and continue to interact with other folks. I even remain committed to a personal policy of NEVER reporting others here on C.F., even if I don't like their viewpoint or I think they may be trolls.
No matter what we do, since there is such a wide variety of people involved in these forums, there is always the likelihood for some head-butting with others or for others to simply try to remove our opinion from the public place. With that said, this is one reason why I scarcely enter into the political forums because some of these people are way too invested in their political ideology---some are atheists and don't care how they oppose Christians; and some Christians here apparently think their choice of political parties emanates somehow from the power of the Holy Spirit and/or the Bible.
Unless you're looking to take on any viewpoint like I might, just try to find that 10 to 20% of fellow Christians here who may share your own general angle on things and focus on talking to them for the most part. You'll probably feel better that way.
.
Peace
