Howdy, I hope you're doing well.
Call meIshamel Creedence.
I'll try to be brief, so long as you remember I said try!
I'm shopping around for forums where I won't be shown the door for saying I'm a seminarian serving a Disciples of Christ church here in my hometown. It's an honor to be part of a rural church that's stood strong for over a century, and one that still charters our Scout Troop, of which I'm an Eagle Scout of 8 years. Restorationism, to me, is a worthy experiment and great leap of faith that may be wrong or may be right, all I know is I was born close to a community where every face I see on Sunday morning was at the food pantry Saturday morning. That's no mistake.
My username may have given away my love of the Puritans, and in particular I'm a sucker for Rutherford. Conviction and devotion just fell out of him, such an overflow of God's love in that man.
I've already gone pretty long, so let me close by saying I wanted to be an author before I was called, and I still write fiction to entertain myself and others. I'm always happy to talk about literature, from comics to novels, and I'd love to meet any other forum members who are writing Christian fantasy/fiction as they study.
Shalom shalom, go in peace!
