  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Guess what, guess what, guess what?!?!?!?!?!?!!?!

We played Shallowater today in Tennois, and I played,. and guess what?

I won!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I won 8-1. Everyone was congrajulating me, and cheering me, cause I was the last one to play.......I thought I was gonna get nervous with everyone watching me, but I forgot they were there after a while. But, I was suprised I won, because a few months ago, I was LOSING 1-8. Could I....could I really have improved that much over winter break? Well, I did play Matt and deborah alot :D.

I was so happy, cause everyone was cheering for me, 'Go, Chance!!' and after I won, Ankit (this really mean guy who I don't like, nurr >.<) he was like 'Did you win?' and I was running to get my stuff so I could leave, and I was like 'Yeah.' and I saw him do a double take, as if he hadn't actually heard right :D. And Matt was like 'Go, Chance!!You won!!' when I got inside, and Gretta's mom (she's like the team encourager, she congrajulates everyone) was like 'I watched you, I'm proud of you.' It was nice to actually win for once instead of losing.
