Lol I wanted to fit in, so now I use a cute couple picture myself of me and a monkey. This is hilarious and, I must admit, I agree most of the time. Just to let you know my photo here has me with parentsI hope that is ok.
Ooh lol now I see it, your avatar is you with your parents. AAAAAAAAAAAAAHH a cute couple!!!This is hilarious and, I must admit, I agree most of the time. Just to let you know my photo here has me with parentsI hope that is ok.
Facebook is about as real as 99% of blogs (or vlogs) out there. It will only show you what the person wants to show you. You'll only see smily, happy people holding hands (or owning hams, however the song goes).
This goes for people who post limitless Instagram selfies (flawless!), numerous family vacay shots (we went here, here, here, here, here AND here.. all in one day!) and lovey dovey couple pics (nevermind the argument they got into at last night's party). It happens. Some of it is faked, all of it is expected.
I, personally, don't recoil in horror when I see couples being lovey dovey in public. I actually.. it makes me happy. I love it. And kudos to them for not giving a rip. BUT, if I were to see that same couple pda'ing over and over and over again, the authenticity loses credibility. True story.
I don't mind normal ones. Only slimy ones I block. People licking each other in public bother me. If dogs do it it doesn't bother me lol.I'm the same way. I even do the vacation thing - it's fun. We all expect it on friends walls, we know their lives are perfect all the time. One of my best friends is a photographer so she often posts pictures of her husband, their kids, their projects, her friends, every week. It's a delight to see. Pictures of couples - or people in public - bother me not at all. I'm happy for them.

Yeah I'm happy for them but irl it doesn't bother me. That's only on Facebook and only once in a while. For the rest Facebook is great.Oh, why not be happy for the ones that are happily wedded? My sister had a horrible marriage, my best friend has an absolutely beautiful one. My sis married a doctor (yes, a believer) and my friend is married to a pastor (which, believe it or not, is a pressure cooker.) What is the difference? The one who is happy picked well. She listened to the Lord and listened to advice from mature Christians who had her best interest at heart and gave her intelligent counsel. When you see happy people, be happy for them, bless them and some of that blessing will rebound right back to you.
Blessings to you!
Yes I don't get it.I partially deleted my Facebook because I got tired of seeing the happy couples who through it out in your face.
