CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Lol I wanted to fit in, so now I use a cute couple picture myself of me and a monkey.This is hilarious and, I must admit, I agree most of the time. Just to let you know my photo here has me with parentsI hope that is ok.

I'm the same way. I even do the vacation thing - it's fun. We all expect it on friends walls, we know their lives are perfect all the time. One of my best friends is a photographer so she often posts pictures of her husband, their kids, their projects, her friends, every week. It's a delight to see. Pictures of couples - or people in public - bother me not at all. I'm happy for them.

I don't mind normal ones. Only slimy ones I block. People licking each other in public bother me. If dogs do it it doesn't bother me lol.

Oh, why not be happy for the ones that are happily wedded? My sister had a horrible marriage, my best friend has an absolutely beautiful one. My sis married a doctor (yes, a believer) and my friend is married to a pastor (which, believe it or not, is a pressure cooker.) What is the difference? The one who is happy picked well. She listened to the Lord and listened to advice from mature Christians who had her best interest at heart and gave her intelligent counsel. When you see happy people, be happy for them, bless them and some of that blessing will rebound right back to you.
