One for the road!Leaf tea of course. One spoonful per cup and one for the pot.

? I wonder if Andrew knows? How do they put that smile on the top of the Latte coffee?
Anthony might!? I wonder if Andrew knows?![]()
In the mornings, I like freshly prepared coffee using the espresso machine. I have a selection of coffees including decaff. Sometimes I will drink espresso, americano, cappuccino or latte. It depends on my mood, and whether I can be bothered with all the fuss and washing up. The milk steamer on the machine is great but it doesn't half create a mess!

That is so clever, and obvious now you have explained it.To produce these pattterns, people use stencils with holes in them of various different shapes - some with petals, some with smiling faces. They place the stencil over the top of the cup and sprinkle chocolate powder over the top. The chocolate that falls through the hole produces the shape over the top of the milk. I did have a go once, but unfortunately the pattern soon disappeared and so did the coffee!
I am a bit of a coffee affectionado and I seriously have to limit my consumption to just one in the morning. Otherwise I end up with headaches, nausea, tachycardia and tremours - and of course endless trips to the bathroom. I have a box of decaf which I can use in the machine when I fancy a cup in the evening!
I remember years ago when I lived in Exeter, we used to go to a particular restaurant in town for special occasions. I always used to remember having a coffee floater to finish the meal. Black coffee served in a glass where they pour double cream over a spoon and it is supposed to float on the top. That has always been my favourite ever since, but they're not that healthy so can't have them every day! That is so clever, and obvious now you have explained it.
I also appreciate coffee, 3 or 4 a day ...![]()
