Depression can have hidden physcial problems. Some of these could include low iron, low b12, or other mineral and/or vitamin deficiencies. Hypothyroidism is a the most common health problem in the USA and a major cause of depression. It is frequently misdiagnosed or underdiagnosed. Some blood tests might help in general. Also there are informal checklists of symptoms on the net.

I pray you will be given insight on the cause of your depression and that you will be led to just the right fix for it.

I'm so sorry you're feeling this way! I pray that God would lift you up with a peace that surpasses understanding. Whenever I'm overcome with constant, negative thoughts I try and remember these two verses:

"We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ." 2 Cor 10:5

"Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things." Phil 4:8
