I like the weight watchers plan. It is based on a point system and teaches how to eat in moderation to reach weight goals. They have a dining out guide, recipes and you can even have meals delivered to your house. Portion size and eating in moderation is the key.

I am not majorly overweight. I am only about 20 lbs heavier than where I want to be, and I know that I am not pregnant, nor have I ever been. I know that my age isn't shown but I am only 19 and still a virgin, so no pregnancy weight problems yet. Thanks for the advice. I noticed that your handle is lovemysoldier, is your husband at war?

yep....he is in Iraq.

Good luck losing the weight. You can do it. I had to lose 65 pounds after my twins were born. It took a lot of dedication. It was a lot easier when my husband left because I didn't have him eating cookies in front of me and leaving them in the kitchen for me to 'put away'.

Yeah, but it looks like those little ones were worth the 65 lbs. Thery're beautiful. And on a personal note. Thank you for your sacrifice. I can't imagine, what it's like to have your husband over there. Please tell him thank you for me, please tell him that I appreciate all of the sacrifice that both of you make for me, my family, and our God-given country. God Bless You! You are all in my prayers. All you've got to remember is to lower absorption rate of sugar and lower your intake of saturated fat if you really want to lose weight.

You should eat food that's high in fibre and/or water, and low in saturated fat, some foods moderate in unsaturated fats. If these slim fast cans contain refined sugar, i wouldn't advice them to lose weight. You don't want a diet where it's so high in sugar and/or carbs, that it relies on you to starve your body of nessesary protein and unsaturated fat.
