Is it me or does every guy in the late 20s/early 30s crowd just want to "hook up"? I seem to either attract younger guys looking for one thing or men old enough to be my father.

Anyone else have this problem??

Well, I'm not in the same age group as you, but one thing I've noticed about men in my dating age range is that they seem to be very hesitant about changing their life to make room for a relationship. I know that relationships take effort and work but they are all also fun and exciting and rewarding!

I'm not saying that all men my age are like that...I'm sure there are men out there who desire to be in a relationship and would make whatever adjustments they need to in order to make it work...I'm just saying that in my experience I've found men who seem happy with just chatting or casually dating and don't necessarily want to move the relationship on to the next level.

True...you had just mentioned dating guys in their late 20's / early 30's and I tend to date late 30's / early 40's...

As a guy I feel often that I'm getting divorced at the absolute wrong time - all the single Christian women I know are late 40's and up or are under 30 and looking for kids.

I'd love to find someone in their 30's who was done having kids ... are you out there?

I find that I'm either meeting men that don't have any children and aren't looking to sign up for step-parenting, or I'm meeting men that have children in their teens and they're not looking to "start over again" with young children.

So, I concur - where are all the people that are looking for the same things we are???

oddly enough, all the women who seem to be getting all the dates are the ones 'with' kids. i figured not having kids would make me more marketable...so to speak. i guess maybe guys are afraid that i may 'want' kids. naaaaaaaaaaaaah......don't wanna pass on this messed up dna.
