BAN fast travelling! use modes of transport, more originality, no more portals except in certain mages guild
I disagree. I love traveling the world in the game by foot, but when I'm trying to complete a quest that requires me to travel forever across the map, just to go back, fast travel is nice. If I want to experience what it would really be like to manually walk to complete the quest, I'd do it, and I have before. I don't want to be required to do it, though.

Most of the time, I wander around aimlessly, but if I want to run off, sell some stuff, and return, I like the convenience of fast travel.

i tell you, once you start using fast travel for dungeon runs, you are going to get used to fast travel anywhere, games like this should be like WoW, going places ONLY with modes of transport

Lol if anything they need to bring back siltstriders :p I loved those things. Part of what I loved about morrowind was just how different the areas were. The sounds from those things really just freaked me out when I first played but still. Then you went from like the zangarmarsh type stuff on the coast, to the lava lands, ashstorms etc it was nuts.

Skyrim is supposed to have a really nice variety of locations. And apparently they spent a lot of time on the snow effects. Snow will no longer be a painted on texture with a slightly different sound effect when you step on it; snow is a physical part of the world that can be moved and manipulated by the player or the surrounding environment.

There's supposed to be lush forests, snowy areas, rocky mountains... I can't wait.

Nah, not me. I fast traveled in Oblivion for quests and supply runs, that was about it. If I wanted to adventure, I'd walk around for hours finding things to kill and discovering treasures in lost caves. I loved discovering new dungeons with mysterious atmospheres and hidden traps. It was especially rewarding when I'd find something to kill that dropped something valuable, or was protecting a valuable item somewhere.

I think the MOST IMPORTANT thing is.. remove all the BUGS..less CTD and glitches

I don't mind if they ppushed the release a few months back before release, i wouldn't want a 5.0 rating on gamespot or a C in other game rating websites

I don't care what websites rate games, as long as I enjoy them. Brother in Arms: Hell's Highway got a 7.5 or something from IGN, whereas I would have given it probably an 8.5. If I had to base my score purely on story, I'd have given it almost a 10. That being said, IGN is the most dependable review site in my opinion, because they don't base their reviews on bias; they base it on playability, and they allow second opinions from the other editors later.

Also, some games with glitches or mounds of problems still get excellent ratings. Fallout 3, anyone?

Bug free? Bethesda? Lawl :p Nah they left it open source from what I see for that reason, to let the modders fix it all :p

yeah but even so, make the foundations stable, no CTD and stuttering movement, its ok if they have glitches but not major ones that can cause a BSOD

I loved FO3, i was quite dissapointed when my headshot didn't count as a headshot damage at times

Well, I'm getting off work and heading home. I'll be back on tomorrow.

Keep this thread alive guys ;)

Cya later.

Night night, gonna crash here myself soon but I'll definitely bump it when I get up. I'll see if I can upload a vid of my newer new vegas mods. Trying to find some with steampunk brass goggles like the dwemer mod on oblivion.

Ya true, I remember new vegas giving me alot of issues like a full vid card fail but I think it just over heated it. It has me very worried when Skyrim comes out. I mean I have 8 g of ram, 2.5 ghz quad core and a gig graphics card(I think) but I am running on vista 64 bit :< Head shot thing got me, but I get it kinda. Lower levels shouldn't be able to one shot deathclaws etc.

ya you could do a cure quest in oblivion htouhg on the ps3 vershion if you upgreaded to the game of the year edition it got buged

part of the cure was blood grass but the npc would not reckognize you had it

ty forthe info

Np ^_^ Although I didn't really answer that bit :p I wasn't sure if there was a cure outside of modding or not.

I hope they have werewolves in Skyrim (as a playable quest/race). If so, I hope they do the beautiful beast justice. I've seen some werewolf mods for Oblivion, but I just don't think they're at the point of giving the beat the look and feel I think they should have.

Mmm- Skyrim, hurry up and get here. Please? >.>;;

Considering this will be nord land I am right there with you. I didn't like the werewolf mods on Oblivion. It was like a fursuit and not like you were the wolf :p
