Not from what I've seen, no. No mounted combat. But who knows. Check out the Quakecon video. Probably the best gameplay video out there. 30+ minutes long on the xbox. No spoilers. Just gameplay. A little ranged, melee, magic. Different creatures, towns. It's cool.

I'm more than likely going to get it for the pc. I didn't know the pc had an oblivion mod community (and oh my, it is vast!). But if for some reason I don't decide to get it on the pc, I'll go with the xbox instead of ps3 (since that's what most of my friends have).

Right now I am about to get the draenei race from world of warcraft and I am looking for something that overhauls all the textures because I am pushing this at ultra high settings and it still isnt enough.

I really wish, that some modder would create a mod that allows me to build up a army and to invade and also to defend from other cities while collecting taxes and upgrading my town

but i think that would be a very big mod

Oh I dunno I just reinstalled yesterday. Starting a new file so I can't wait to see how it all works out :3 Thing about oblivion is, it's been around for so long if there is a mod you want they have it. I found a race of fox people, didn't care for it but I found it so it's like whatever you want someone probably found a way to rework the code.

Skyrim will be amazing for mods. They have made so many changes to the toolkit because they realized how important it was to players. I'm just hoping they have added the ability to make whole quests because I've got my studio prepped for some voice acting.

maybe if ther was just some time lag inbetween instesed i mean it makes sense that if you comit a big crime you may be wanted in other citys and reagins but maybe the game should have to send out a courer npc before that happens

hears an idea maybe they could add bountyhuntung to one of the games maybe even make a guild out of it and if you run aflowl of the law then at least it wont always be the same imperl or town gards comeing after you

Yeah that was definitely... Frustrating.

That's why I really liked the system in Fallout: New Vegas where you were able to maintain different levels of respect for the various factions and cities in the area. If I went anywhere near one place, I'd get shot at the moment I was spotted, but in another area people would run up to me and give me free stuff

I know it may be the sociopath in me but when that kings guy runs up to me and hands me 30 caps I can't help but shoot him. Sure I need to reload but sometimes I get caught in this reloading shooting scenario for hours >__< Or the people in the freeside shouting about the hookers and guns. It's like OK I HEARD YOU THE FIRST TEN TIMES BOOM BOOM AND HERES SOME FOR YOU TOO POW!

When I mean reload I don't mean magazine I mean reload last save I love the kings. I just can't stand the people there

Hopefully they will add in survival mode, allowing us to eat and drink every few hours, adding to the role-play effect

I wonder whats the roleplay rating for this? I don't like a action RPG, its must be role-playtive too..like oblivion

There's isn't going to be a "hardcore" mode like in New Vegas. That has been confirmed, so no eating or drinking to survive. The game isn't supposed to focus on surviving in the desert like New Vegas does. I must say, though, that I did enjoy the option to play like that.

They have a mod for oblivion like that, moe I think. I imagine they'll do the same. I like the option of using the fruit and stuff I find for something other than a fatigue potion
