No. He was in the public thruway on his way out of the building. The trespass (if trespass it was) had ended.

The Saint Paul skyway system is based on a series of easements in favor of the City of Saint Paul allowing the public access. He had the right to be in the public thruway. That is all that occurred in the presence of the peace officers and a reported but not observed misdemeanor is not grounds for an arrest.

Once he was observed leaving the premises, the incident should have ended. But it didn't. Instead, peace officers followed him for two blocks in the public thruways and finally Officer Johnson decided he had had enough of the uppity Negro and made illegal threats of arrest and made an illegal arrest.

Officer Johnson is the criminal in this scenario. I know it is difficult for the the Invisible Empire to comprehend it, but yes, it is illegal for peace officers to arrest a Negro without probable cause and in violation of state statute.

The defense of the peace officers who clearly violated the law in their harassment of a Negro in a public place is not just a defense of White Supremacy. It is White Supremacy.

I will enter into a friendly wager. This area is right by the skyway to the Saint Paul federal courthouse. Next time I have an appearance there, I will sit there for fifteen minutes. Ten thousand CF Blessings says I can sit there for twenty minutes as a white guy in a suit and nothing happens.

First, I don't know whether this was a private area or not and no one has provided evidence as to whether it was or wasn't. If it is a private area, the guy should have left when first informed it was a private area.

On to the video. I see issues on both sides. The male cop was over the top aggressive and could have taken a more calm approach and the guy could have simply stopped and talked to them and explained the situation, that he didn't know the area was private and he had left, no harm, no foul. Acting as he did, is likely going to escalate the situation and it did.

In some ways, this situation reminds me of the insurance scammer, who drives real slow, gets people close to their read end and then slams on the brakes to get them to collide with them and then claims neck injuries.

So again, both sides could have handled this better.
