There has to be some way we can lobby for a rule that does not allow reporting in here. I mean, why come in here if you know you are going to be offended? Why!!? WHY!!?? It makes absolutely no sense. I could find about a hundred things in the Trad area that I could easily report in a matter of about 10 minutes. But I don't.
Maybe I should start.
Seriously getting fed up with this place and sick to death of the intolerance and hate. Been wondering why I even bother coming here anymore lately.
Well, at least we have Tall's forum.
Actually, I have to agree with you there, Night. *gasp*
I know people who have left entire forums (or social gatherings offline) because they either do not like the discussions going on there, or they feel offended by the behaviour. Sure, some may stay around a bit and try to change things..but most cases it's better just to walk away and wipe the dust off your feet.
If people don't want to change, it's a waste of
everyones time to try and change them. This goes for reporting, too.
Is reporting wrong? No. And I do believe in many cases the posts being reported are valid complaints. But if you
know there's a high chance you will be offended or upset when you enter a section of the forum, why bother? It just causes uneeded stress when you have to read it and report it.
The only people responcible for keeping this place civil are the Mods. Reporting is helpful, yes, but it's not members' jobs to try and clean the board up.

Even though I know many may disagree.
Take Woob for example (Hope he doesn't mind me saying this). He spent a lot of time really upset by things that went on in this board ,but since he was banned he's completely flourished in his life. He seems really happy now that he doesn't have the burden he placed on himself to deal with problems here.
I think we could
all benefit from spending less time pointing fingers at each other and each others' beliefs, and more time being productive for God in helping those who feel they actually need help.
So, my strategy..If I don't like what goes on somewhere, it doesn't deserve what little time I have on this earth. If someone
asks for my help or opinion and is willing to listen, great! That's where God'd rather have me.
