Sir Marcus and Sir Michael
Lord Sir Marcus Neiman Athenuel, General of the Lumlorian Army
(Michael will have his own thread if he ever gets played in a thread.)
Marcus is a human male w/ some elven heritage, but it is very far removed. He stands 6'8" tall and weighs 267 pounds of solid muscle, which was packed onto his large frame over many years of hard training in the chivalrous arts of warfare and single combat. His ice blue eyes shine out of a handsomely sun bronzed face which is topped with sandy blond hair.
Sir Marcus is the eldest son of Lord Sir Lawrence Athenuel and Lady Victoria Athenuel, Viscount and Viscountess of Akhonne. Marcus was knighted when he was only 16 years of age. He'd been squired to Prince ??? of Lumloria and defended the prince valiantly on the field of battle when the prince had fallen. Owing to his great courage and chivalry that day Prince ??? knighted Marcus on the spot. Now, as the normally peaceful elves of Lumloria prepare to wage war against the evil which has embedded itself in Ember, Sir Marcus has been called to help lead the elven army against the forces built by the perniciously greedy merchant leaders of Ember.
Sir Marcus is a study in the physical form of man, a nearly perfect specimen not unlike Michelangelo's "David." Even the famously gruff and tough paladin Sir Manfred thought Marcus to be a "Roman god" upon their first meeting. (see the Consi thread) To his credit, Sir Marcus is not vain regarding his appearance.
If he does have flaws they are restricted to his personality. Marcus has a rather conservative and traditional outlook on life. He believes women have their place, and it is not in a place of authority. Asha Lukschander, the superbly adept Pra Yer warrior, can testify to this. The two were nearly betrothed at one time, but Sir Marcus' narrow view of women's roles prevented their budding romance from going any further.
Marcus is always dressed in the finest quality clothing one can find, but in the most masculine of styles. He favors earthtones, leaving bright colors for the ladies of the land, and the foppish men. He is never without his sword and a rather deadly looking dagger, which he keeps in a special sheath at his back. It is part of a wonderful belt which was given to him by his father.
