Sins of the prophet Muhammad

Because he had his scribes repeat the verses of the Quran to him so that he could verify it. And when the Quran was compiled, the word of the scribes alone was not enough. There needed to be atleast two witnesses who were there when the prophet Muhammad first recited that verse to be recorded.

NOW, I understand. So, this is how it was commited to memory. That makes sense.

Yes, maybe someone made it seem like the prophet Muhammad's companions had as good of memories as he did. But they spent countless years of their lives learning and memorizing the Quran. When a new chapter of the Quran was revealed they would spend hours reading it over and over until they had it perfectly memorized then they would recite it during their prayers. During the early years in Mecca, the prophet Muhammad's companions were forced to hide themselves when they were learning the Quran. They were being persecuted by the Pagan Arabs, so it was hard for them to practice their religion. The prophet Muhammad taught the Quran to anyone who wanted to learn. Later on when the Muslims migrated to Medina, the prophet Muhammad's mosque became the center for learning as many people went there to learn the Quran and memorize it. The prophet Muhammad spent a good portion each day helping the people in the mosque to learn the Quran and listening to their recitations. Even though the prophet Muhammad had the best voice when reciting the Quran, he would often single out a few of his companions and compliment them on their beautiful voice and eloquent recitation of the Quran.

Well, at last it's been explained to me. Up till this time I was under the impression that bits of it were written on this and that and they just pieced it altogether from what had been written.
In my inagination I saw bits of bones with writing on them, bits of palm leaves, bits of skins, etc;etc; all pushed into something then sorted out later. And, I often wondered how much had been lost.
OK, that's settled then, I can accept the memory method. Thankyou!

Know, what I'm saying is what proof do you have. Looking at the world around you, what makes you doubt that man was created.

The only proof I need is the fact we were not created.Looking at the world around you, what makes you think man was created. The idea is absurd.

I think you should read this online book by Harun Yahya. It is titled Allah is Known Through Reason, and it will prove to you that we were created.

First of all, I said it was an online book. You can read it on the website for free. Just click on the link and you'll see. Secondly, it is not Muslim propoganda. He uses scientific evidence and logic to prove that we were created. Just read the introduction and you'll see.

30:25
And of His signs are the firmly standing heaven and earth by His command; then as soon as He will summon you out of the earth, you shall come forth at one call.

102:1
O mankind, you have been distracted by the rivalry of piling up worldly gains against one another.

102:2
You will never be satisfied until you get into the grave.

102:3
Nevertheless, soon you shall come to know.

102:4
Again, nevertheless, soon you shall come to know.

102:5
Nay! Would that you knew through the real knowledge provided to you in this Qur'an and care about your life in the Hereafter.

102:6
Because on the Day of Judgement when you shall see the hell,

102:7
and see it with the certainty of your own eyes

102:8
- you shall believe it, but that belief is going to do you no good because - on that Day, you shall be questioned about the blessings (faculties and resources that you were given in the worldly life - as to how you used them?)

Have you ever imagined why I am reply to you even after you constantly saying words like "worthless", "doesn't make sence"..etc, etc?

I do talk and meet with people who have accepted Islam and I also talk with people on this forum who follow other religions. Have you ever imagined how I evaluate the feedback I receive from non-muslims on this forum?

16:81
Allah has provided you shades from the sun out of what He has created. He has granted you resorts in the mountains, has granted you garments to protect yourselves from heat; and coats of armor to protect you during your wars. Thus He completes his favors to you, so that you may become Muslims.

16:82
If they still give no heed to you O Muhammad, you need not worry, for your duty is only to convey the message clearly.

How can I try to convert or revert some one on whom I have no control? I have no control on your heart.

I have tried to make you believe there is a creator but did I asked you or anyone on this forum yet to become a muslim?

By all means I am posting the translation of qur'aan but again to read and not to read is your choice and your responsibility to prefer reading or not reading the translation of qur'aan. In order to understand Muslims one must read the translation of Qur’aan, Hadith and consult the scholars.

If you don’t understand Qur’aan how can you understand and judge Muslims and the suffering just on the basis of little knowledge you have about Muslims and Islam? and What Islam stands for?

In some ways, muslims and christians are very much alike. Both sides are continually attempting to convert all of us "unbelievers".You're right in that it is my choice to read or not.I prefer not.
A person doesn't need to study any religion to understand the adherrents of that religion. And don't give me that talk about suffering.Every group of people on this planet has endured suffering.
I have learned however,that Islam is a peaceful religion,if you're a devout muslim.If you're not,then it's convert or die.
