Oh dear, have we reached THAT stage already?
Okay, I'll just fetch my pipe and slippers. You can set the board.

You won't be an honourable knight by waiting, you'll just be a procrastinator.

Hey, hey, now. You cannot rush a good fairy-tale romance.Besides, Miss Sheena must accept my proposal first. She has a right to politely say no. Now what sort of honorable knight would I be if I tried to take her hand by force?
... Actually I just thought of that because for the first time ever playing through Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions, I came across an optional part of the story that involved rescuing a girl named Reis that a former knight named Beowulf in my party loved from the hand of an evil clergyman who fooled himself into believing she would love him if he forced her to hard enough (not the least of which involved disposing of the former temple knight Beowulf who actually, truly loved Reis), and all throughout the battle with the evil clergyman Beowulf kept trying to convince him to surrender Reis peacefully because she belongs to no one at all - not even Beowulf - unless she has freely chosen to love someone, and that it is not true love if you feel obligated to use violence and coercion to attain it. The clergyman would not listen, used an evil stone to turn into a demon from hell, I slew him, he died a dishonorable death because he refused to listen to reason and understand what real, unselfish love is all about, I rescued Reis, she and Beowulf now both fight alongside me to rid the land of other evils, The End.
Miss Sheena is a fan of War of the Lions as well, I believe. I wonder if she also knows of this scene in which I speak of. It was actually quite intriguing. ... And so well-timed as to this current topic of conversation here.![]()
And this was as far as I read before you stopped me in my tracks. I have NO idea what you're talking about, but I suspect that the proceeding wall of gibberish was to skirt the issue at hand.

But yes, Reis and Beowulf ...touching story. Oh, and here's something of an untold story, I was tried to be taken by force at a younger age. Didn't pan out very well, I (meaning my family too) ran away.

That really happened to you in real life once? Man .... Well, I'm glad you seem to be okay, now. It sounds like that kind of thing would have a tendency to scar people who go through that.
This never scarred me, but only let me know at a very early age to not trust so easily.
