  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Same here. I have 3 older brothers & we lived out in the boonies. If you're not tomboy, you're bored out of your mind.
Well...the boonies have good times too. I remember playing with salamanders, turtles, frogs, and the boys always trying to scare me with something or other. And yes, they usually did! The good part about having 4 brothers is when someone else in the neighborhood was giving you a bad time... One winter this kid threw a snowball at me and hit me smack dab in the middle of my face which made my glasses go flying. My brother was walking to school behind us and he started running after that kid...he got ahold of him and had him up against the school wall saying if he ever hurt me again he'd regret it. :D My brother was my hero from that day on! :)

I sure wish I had a sister. So I could have pulled her hair.

I have a sister, and you're more than welcome to pull her hair. I'm not that brave/foolhardy!

As for that joke, well, TB, you left it wide open, and I get 8 hours a day practice on puns (some people call it work).

As for the boonies, I mostly remember playing with red ants and riding my bicycle along the roads. Ah, the good old days. Now I just drive down there and stay with friends in the boonies when I have to get away for a weekend.
