Sin, transgression and inequity

Hey,
I was just wondering if anyone could answer a question that has recently come up. The bible mentions sins, transgressions and inequities-are these the same thing, if not what are the differences.
Any help you could give me on this would be much appriciated.

They're pretty much synonymous, at least with regard to our treasonous acts of cosmic rebellion against God.

I will add that "iniquity" often refers to the blemish of our sinful nature. This iniquitous state of our souls is caused by our being born with a sinful nature.
