Korchma Mlyn. :p (Name of the pub from one of my favorite cartoons...)

I've posted a bunch of my photoshop stuff on my blog. Go lookie.

Great blog---like the dictionary of pop evangelists :)
You forgot "I feel the Spirit here today" as if maybe He doesn't show up very much.

"You've been touched by the Lord" Maybe the person saying this is "touched".

Other great blog sites on there to like Julie Martinez's site.

I need a beer. I just finished my first Seminary Greek quiz. I will have to suffer through the night to find out how I fared on it.

:crossrc:

It's OK, really.
There will be days, however, when you will repeatedly ram your head into a solid brick wall and scream "What am I doing here?? What am I doing here??"
I've just recently been able to wear hats again.

Who's teaching summer Greek at the Fort this year?

Ah, you've just described my life for the past 2.5 years....not in Sem, but I am finishing a dissertation. Ugh.

Other great blog sites on there also like Julie Martinez's site

For the people that don't know her. Julie Martinez was one of our BOD (Board of Directors) of the LCMS that resigned because she could not lend herself to the errant polity and heterodox position of the LCMS. I think since then she has joined the ELS.........I think

We are now less than 30 posts away from the closing of the SBS and the grand opening of M&KBH

Off in a corner, Kepler raises his glass of beer, and begins to sing quietly to himself.....

I just got home... This past week, I have been working 15-16 hour days. I didn't even have time to check messages. I tried to pop in every once in a while, but I was too tired to even catch up on the threads I had participated in. I'll try to catch up in the next few days.

I almost posted an APB thread yesterday about you since I hadn't see you at all in quite a long time. Glad to know you are OK. Sorry you had to work so hard but sometimes work is like that. :sigh:

Happy Father's Day to you and all the fathers in TCL!

I just wanted to write in and say, Yes, folks, cell phones CAN be resurrected from the dead after a baptism in the washing machine :)

My daughter accidentally left her phone (her dad's old one that she now only uses for emergency purposes) in her shorts pocket and they got washed yesterday. I took a blow dryer and alternated between high and low trying to dry it all out for about an hour. After that we let it dry overnight, recharged the battery and it works! It's Alive!! :) Whew!

Well since all we need is ONE baptism for the remission of sins we need not go through that process again. Check the pockets before putting clothes in the dirty laundry. :D

I've asked Jesus in my heart multiple times and he still does absolutely nothing yet he blesses pretty much everyone else I know so it just confuses me as to why christianity doesn't work for me but it works for everyone else.

Trust me, the phone will never be rebaptized :D

I never check anyone's pockets but my husband's since my daughter and I generally do not leave anything in our pockets anyway. This was a first and it was a biggie. Well, she did leave a kleenex in her pocket when she was younger...icky.

At least my husband leaves money for me to find sometimes :)

LilLamb, I wouldn't have known about the washer, but I know they can be resurrected from being left out in heavy rainstorms. I though my phone was in my truck and the next morning, my dad tells me that it was on the driveway! It rained all night!!! I let it dry out and then recharged it and it still works.

(thank goodness, I need my Lost And Found ringtones. . .LOL)
