I recently picked up the D-Link AirPlus G DWL-G730AP Wireless Pocket Router. It is great. If I'm in a Hotel without wireless (yes, they still exist!), or with a bad wireless connection, I just plug it into the LAN port at the hotel, and Viola! Not only that, but it's tiny, and can be powered via a USB port..
