How dirty?

We have different grades of dirty.

We have just barely used (1 drink)
Used for a few drinks, Used last night, Used as a spitoon, Has lipstick smudges on it. Used as an ashtray.

Wow, what a trip!

Last Sunday/Monday, a co-worker and I flew to Copenhagen (København), Denmark for training. The pilots doing domestic flights out of København went on strike just as we arrived, so there was no flight to Aarhus (Århus). We rented a car, and our baggage finally arrived late Wednesday night. Fun times!

Training went well Tuesday through Friday. By Friday I had also beaten the jetlag ... Just in time for us to drive to Prague (Praha), Czech Republic, after class! What an amazing weekend!!! Prague is such a beautiful city! If any of you have the chance, I suggest you go. The drive back on Sunday was pretty good too. We took a detour to this German restaurant. Truly one of the very best dinners I have ever had on my whole life (even though I know about 8 words in Deutsch, and no one there knew any English)! I also thoroughly entertained the hostess with my fumbling attempts at ordering and trying to express how good the food was...

Today, I drove back to København (my co-workers are spending another week there). Currently, I am a couple of hours into my flight back to Seattle. Tomorrow, I have a checkup with my doctor, a few hours with the family, then on Wednesday, it's back to work... New York, then Manitoba, Canada, then who knows where.

It's a whirlwind!

BTW, is Danish like Swedish with the "Å"? IOW, is Århus pronouced "Oar-hoos"? Just curious...

Very close. Kinda have to make your tongue lie dead in the bottom of your mouth there in the beginning. But then again, when I tried to pronounce Danish words, the locals would just kinda roll their eyes and say something like, ya, ya, close enough.

I'm over Baffin Island right now. North of Canada proper and approaching the Gulf of Boothia.

Evidently some computers are having difficulty with this new format.

I know that some of you are frustrated, but we need to be patient with this new format because it is here to stay. Hopefully Erwin will be told of the problems and they will be fixed.

takes mine longer than that...I'm using dial-up...I agree that the pretty pictures are nice and all, but this has gummed up my computer something fierce...

Odd, I haven't had that many problems. Erwin is still working on some stuff.

Have you cleaned out your cookies since the update? If you haven't done that, CF may still be trying to "read" the old graphics that don't load on this site. Then, one or two times after visiting here, it'll get faster as it'll be used to the new CF.

Doesn't seem to have worked for all, though, but if you have't cleared your cookies, do that. It should help.
