Awesome! I'm gonna keep praying that!

Freely you have received, freely give.
If you can obtain books by Michael L Brown, especially the one "What Happened To The Power of God?" reading that will fire you up and give you the right focus on what it takes to win souls for Christ with signs and wonders.

Thanks. I found it on Kindle. I'll check it out. So far when I preach, it's really random, but it yields a little fruit. I would love to get focused and really let His light shine through me in every way possible.

When are their writings going to be added to the Bible? I am only guessing that the Office of Apostle other than Missionaries and revelation(scripture) was no longer needed in the Church overall after the Foundation of the Gospel was laid in Acts. It is possible that persons can have prophecy to expose hidden sins and warm the local church of danger.

Hebrews 1 Revised Standard Version Catholic Edition (RSVCE)

1 In many and various ways God spoke of old to our fathers by the prophets; 2 but in these last days he has spoken to us by a Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world.

Eph 2
18 for through him we both have access in one Spirit to the Father. 19 So then you are no longer strangers and sojourners, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, 20 built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone, 21 in whom the whole structure is joined together and grows into a holy temple in the Lord; 22 in whom you also are built into it for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.

1 Corinthians 3:11 For no other foundation can any one lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

Didache "
Chapter 11. Concerning Teachers, Apostles, and Prophets. Whosoever, therefore, comes and teaches you all these things that have been said before, receive him. But if the teacher himself turns and teaches another doctrine to the destruction of this, hear him not. But if he teaches so as to increase righteousness and the knowledge of the Lord, receive him as the Lord. But concerning the apostles and prophets, act according to the decree of the Gospel. Let every apostle who comes to you be received as the Lord. But he shall not remain more than one day; or two days, if there's a need. But if he remains three days, he is a false prophet. And when the apostle goes away, let him take nothing but bread until he lodges. If he asks for money, he is a false prophet. And every prophet who speaks in the Spirit you shall neither try nor judge; for every sin shall be forgiven, but this sin shall not be forgiven. But not every one who speaks in the Spirit is a prophet; but only if he holds the ways of the Lord. Therefore from their ways shall the false prophet and the prophet be known. And every prophet who orders a meal in the Spirit does not eat it, unless he is indeed a false prophet. And every prophet who teaches the truth, but does not do what he teaches, is a false prophet. And every prophet, proved true, working unto the mystery of the Church in the world, yet not teaching others to do what he himself does, shall not be judged among you, for with God he has his judgment; for so did also the ancient prophets. But whoever says in the Spirit, Give me money, or something else, you shall not listen to him. But if he tells you to give for others' sake who are in need, let no one judge him.

Chapter 12. Reception of Christians. But receive everyone who comes in the name of the Lord, and prove and know him afterward; for you shall have understanding right and left. If he who comes is a wayfarer, assist him as far as you are able; but he shall not remain with you more than two or three days, if need be. But if he wants to stay with you, and is an artisan, let him work and eat. But if he has no trade, according to your understanding, see to it that, as a Christian, he shall not live with you idle. But if he wills not to do, he is a Christ-monger. Watch that you keep away from such.

Chapter 13. Support of Prophets. But every true prophet who wants to live among you is worthy of his support. So also a true teacher is himself worthy, as the workman, of his support. Every first-fruit, therefore, of the products of wine-press and threshing-floor, of oxen and of sheep, you shall take and give to the prophets, for they are your high priests. But if you have no prophet, give it to the poor. If you make a batch of dough, take the first-fruit and give according to the commandment. So also when you open a jar of wine or of oil, take the first-fruit and give it to the prophets; and of money (silver) and clothing and every possession, take the first-fruit, as it may seem good to you, and give according to the commandment."

The Shepherd of Hermas (Book III)
"
Chapter 12
First of all, sir, I said, explain this to me: What is the meaning of the rock and the gate? This rock, he answered, and this gate are the Son of God. How, sir? I said; the rock is old, and the gate is new.Listen, he said, and understand, O ignorant man. The Son of God is older than all His creatures, so that He was a fellow-councillor with the Father in His work of creation: for this reason is He old. And why is the gate new, sir? I said. Because, he answered, He became manifest in the last days of the dispensation: for this reason the gate was made new, that they who are to be saved by it might enter into the kingdom of God. You saw, he said, that those stones which came in through the gate were used for the building of the tower, and that those which did not come, were again thrown back to their own place? I saw, sir, I replied. In like manner, he continued, no one shall enter into the kingdom of God unless he receive His holy name. For if you desire to enter into a city, and that city is surrounded by a wall, and has but one gate, can you enter into that city save through the gate which it has? Why, how can it be otherwise, sir? I said. If, then, you cannot enter into the city except through its gate, so, in like manner, a man cannot otherwise enter into the kingdom of God than by the name of His beloved Son."CHURCH FATHERS: The Shepherd of Hermas, Book III

In Bible times they would dig down to Bed Rock( Christ ), lay down a foundation up to grade of stones and rocks with corner stones( which consisted of the Old Testament Prophets and the Apostles of Jesus.

Fact is he self-proclaimed his title with nearly every epistle he wrote....and he wasn't world known back then. So like it, lump it or leave it....He addressed the churches by his office.

Are you saying Hebrews was not written by Paul?

Thanks. I found it on Kindle. I'll check it out. So far when I preach, it's really random, but it yields a little fruit. I would love to get focused and really let His light shine through me in every way possible.
Preach Christ, who He is, what He did for the sick and suffering, how He died on the cross for us, and that He rose from the dead to give us eternal life. Preach the desperate need for true repentance which is more than just "getting religion" or joining a church. Show that without a totally committed turning to Christ, people will be lost forever. If you preach that on the foundation of passionate prayer for the lost, you will find your words will have greater power and conviction and instead of a little fruit, you might find the outcomes overwhelming as God sees that you mean business for him. Have the courage for taking an uncompromising stand for the holiness of God and holy living, even it is bring a price of unpopularity and persecution from those compromised and lukewarm Christians who are into easy believerism. They may say that you are taking this holiness and repentance business too far and that you are preaching law rather than grace. But it is the law that makes people conscious of their sin, so part of the true preaching of the gospel involves preaching the standards of God which have never changed. Although believers are set free from the law of sin and death, unbelievers need a good heavy dose of God's standards of holiness to make them conscious of their sinfulness. Don't try it without spending time before God praying without ceasing for souls, otherwise your preaching becomes just powerless words. Prayer is the generator of God's power. If you read the lives of the greatest saints of God and the power of their ministries, you will see that they are men and women of prayer first.

Romans 8 walk in the spirit

and

1 Corinthians 14:22-26 Revised Standard Version Catholic Edition (RSVCE)
22 Thus, tongues are a sign not for believers but for unbelievers, while prophecy is not for unbelievers but for believers. 23 If, therefore, the whole church assembles and all speak in tongues, and outsiders or unbelievers enter, will they not say that you are mad? 24 But if all prophesy, and an unbeliever or outsider enters, he is convicted by all, he is called to account by all, 25 the secrets of his heart are disclosed; and so, falling on his face, he will worship God and declare that God is really among you.

Orderly Worship
26 What then, brethren? When you come together, each one has a hymn, a lesson, a revelation, a tongue, or an interpretation. Let all things be done for edification.

Thank you very much! Those words really did something to my spirit.
I have a lot of growing to do before I get there. My mind went to "I already do all that!" but... then I felt the Spirit deeply correcting me on so many levels.

I try to pray all day actually. I think that's my greatest strength, because He answers each and every prayer, even if I feel myself go overboard. (But there's no overboard with the Lord. There's just walking on water.)

I'm gonna ask that He helps me focus my prayers first.

Thank you very much again.

Timothy had Paul as teacher yet we don't read anything about miracles performed by him , moreover Jerusalem has 12 gates with stones dedicated to 12 apostles so i don't even think that Matthias choosen by other 11 apostles is counted in here because this way there is no room for Paul .

So i conclude that we don't have these things today .

It gets more powerful when you get many agreeing with you in prayer.

I can imagine. I'll have to try and find some people over here to pray with me. Or on CF.

"But they say that Matthias also taught in the same manner that we ought to fight against and abuse the flesh, and not give way to it for the sake of pleasure, but strengthen the soul by faith and knowledge" [Ecclesiastical History III:29]

"
Chapter 1. The Course pursued by the Apostles after the Ascension of Christ.
1. First, then, in the place of Judas, the betrayer, Matthias, who, as has been shown was also one of the Seventy, was chosen to the apostolate. And there were appointed to the diaconate, for the service of the congregation, by prayer and the laying on of the hands of the apostles, approved men, seven in number, of whom Stephen was one. He first, after the Lord, was stoned to death at the time of his ordination by the slayers of the Lord, as if he had been promoted for this very purpose. And thus he was the first to receive the crown, corresponding to his name, which belongs to the martyrs of Christ, who are worthy of the meed of victory."CHURCH FATHERS: Church History, Book II (Eusebius)

"All further information concerning the life and death of Matthias is vague and contradictory. According to Nicephorus (Church History II.40), he first preached the Gospel in Judea, then in Ethiopia (that is to say, Colchis) and was crucified. The Synopsis of Dorotheus contains this tradition: Matthias in interiore Æthiopia, ubi Hyssus maris portus et Phasis fluvius est, hominibus barbaris et carnivoris praedicavit Evangelium. Mortuus est autem in Sebastopoli, ibique prope templum Solis sepultus (Matthias preached the Gospel to barbarians and cannibals in the interior of Ethiopia, at the harbour of the sea of Hyssus, at the mouth of the river Phasis. He died at Sebastopolis, and was buried there, near the Temple of the Sun). Still another tradition maintains that Matthias was stoned at Jerusalem by the Jews, and then beheaded"CATHOLIC ENCYCLOPEDIA: St. Matthias

There is a very inspiring book called "Signs and Wonders" which is the life and ministry of Maria Woodworth-Etter a late 19th and early 20th Century evangelist. Also read about Kathryn Khulman as well. You will see what those women of faith went through and how they prayed through with God to make their ministries very powerful for God. They had to start somewhere, and they had to grow through some very challenging periods of their lives, but they were determined against all odds to see souls won for Christ. If you are walking with God to prepare yourself for a soul-winning ministry, you are in very good company. Never sell yourself short and don't let others, especially "spiritual" men, limit your potential in Christ. These two women didn't and even their own husbands weren't able to stop them having a ministry of the Lord. Kathryn Khuman's husband tried to block her ministry in the early days, but she had married him against the advice of all her mentors. She realised that she had to separate from him to continue her calling in Christ. She was rejected for a long while because of her divorce, but a small church took her on and helped her develop her ministry and the rest was history.

Luke's account in the book of Acts is his diary about what was told to him and his involvement with the ministry of Paul. It is not a comprehensive account of everything that occurred in the Early Church. We don't know what the other Apostles did and how they went about preaching the Gospel. Luke never went into details about Timothy's ministry so we cannot say that Timothy never preached the gospel with signs and wonders. Also, the miraculous was so common in the ministries of the Early Church leaders, that only the most memorable are recorded. So if Timothy had signs and wonders attached to his ministry like all the others, then that was so commonplace that it wasn't worth taking up space in Luke's diary.

In actual fact, the miraculous was the normal component of the Early Church's ministry for the next 300 years after Peter's, Paul's and Timothy's ministries.

Why should I document other people’s claims? You can find documented claims. I think you sound like the kind of person that would reject them though. Try the 700 club. They have been making the highest quality videos for decades of people’s testimonies that include doctors testimonies. Why the hunt to disprove them? Like I said miracles, whether works of power or answers to simple prayer have nothing to do with Apostleship. If that is what you are trying to disprove. People’s claims of Apostleship. Heck I agree with you on that. Bunch of bogus crap.

In Acts 12 Herod gave a speech to settle differences between his people and the people of Sidon and Tyre. God had empowered Herod to give a good speech. The people started to worship Herod loudly. Herod did not give any credit to God, then Herod was stricken with infirmity and died.

Merely speaking with an inspired voice does not make one an apostle or believer.

Wikipedia states there are 330 million Hindu gods and goddesses. One should not approve of them. I once met a young man who deified a monkey god. I told him that is ridiculous. One should not give glory to Mohamed either. Atheism is a chaotic system. I should remember the teachings of Jesus improved me.

Thank you so much for those inspiring words. That all sounds quite amazing! I want that, and I don't mind at all going through tough times and trials to get to where God wants to take me. He has gotten me through so much already.
And I don't have a husband to worry about, because I want to stay single, and I know the Lord approves. I want to focus all of my attention on God.

God is doing so much in me right now. Can't explain it.
