The eclipse on August 21st is also exactly 40 days before Yom Kippur which is on September 29th.

"40" represents a period of testing in the Bible as can been seen in the 40 years the Israelites wandered in the wilderness and the 40 days Yeshua was tested in the wilderness. So is this 40 day period leading up to Yom Kippur is more than random?

This period of time beginning on August 21st is called the Season of Teshuvah, which in the Jewish faith is a time to get right with God before judgment falls on the Day of Atonement.

Some interesting factoids on the coming Eclipse Monday

1. This eclipse is only seen in totally in the Continental United States, it will be seen in all 50 states in some form of totality.
2. The largest city on the west coast where it starts in is Salem, Oregon, Salem means Peace in Old English, or Shalom in Hebrew. When it enters the last state of totality, South Carolina, it crosses directly over Salem SC and exits off the US land at the islands called the Cape Romain National Wildlife Refuge.
3. Where it first touches US soil it is in Oregon, which is the 33rd state of the Union. When it leaves in SC it leaves on the 33rd parallel.
August 21st is the 233rd day of the year and it is 33 days before Sept 23rd, 2017 when the alignment in the sky called the Sign of Revelation 12 is to happen.
4. People from all around the world are coming to the US to see this, many motels in the totality path have been booked for over a year.
5. It is being called “The Great American Eclipse” for it's uniqueness.
6. This eclipse will be the first total solar eclipse whose path of totality stays completely in the United States since 1776 according the Space.com Total Solar Eclipse 2017 guide
7. The path is 70 miles wide, 70 is seen in the bible many many times.
8. There were three hours of darkness during the crucifixion. 'At noon, darkness came over the whole land until three in the afternoon," Mark 15:32-33 . This eclipse time totals 2 hours, 39 minutes
9. As the Eclipse touches American soil and the US starts to go dark, at the same time it will be sunset in Jerusalem, Israel.
10. The path is crossing over the nations big fault lines, which include, the Cascadia, Yellowstone, New Madrid, Southern Appalachian, Charleston.
11.Total States it passes through is Twelve (12), and of course 12 is seen throughout the Bible, Tribes, Apostles, Gates, foundation walls, etc.
12. In 2024, SEVEN years later on April 8th (Passover is on the 23rd of April, 5 days later) There will be another total eclipse in the US, this time starting on the South West coast. It will start at and it is also on a MONDAY and lasts for 3minutes and 17 seconds. This one however will not just be in the Continental US, but will start in Mexico, enter Texas, go through a part of Canada and exit through Maine. US. This will cross over this current eclipse at a place on the map in Illinois at a place called Cedar Lake to which on the East coast of it lies a road called Salem Rd.
13. The total darkness time of these two eclipses is exactly SEVEN minutes.
14. Ancient Hebrew last letter of the Alef-Bet is the Tav. In the Paleo Hebrew it took the shape of an 'X' and was representative of a Mark, a Covenant.

Salem means Peace. The number 7 is the number of Completion and Perfection in Biblical terms. The Eclipse today was seen from Coast to Coast in the United States and was seen in 7 cities across the U.S. named Salem.
