• The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

    If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.

    If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together.   • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I know i'm not in a good place right now so What I say may be exagerated. I'm soo tired of feeling like this everyday. There's no way out for me I've been trying for nearly as long as I've been depressed. I'm so sick of not knowing whether I'm gonna make it through the day. I'm not sleeping so nights just make it worse...when it comes down to the very core of what I feel I wish I was dead...I can't do this anymore pretty pathetic huh that I feel like this that I'm giving up on life at 15. I don't even deserve to be alive I'm a joke I should just go curl up and die...

A disorder known as S.A.D.

You might look into the possibility that you need more bright sunlight.

Oh right I feel a bit silly now cause i didn't get that thats what u ment...nah i dont think that is something I have a problem with i've heard of it before but like I said the only thing that makes the holidays bad is the lack of structure like right now im on study leave for exams so i only have to go into school when i have exams the time when i should be studying turns into time when neggative thoughts go round my head.

I found it hard because doing anything like reading I just couldn't do I couldn't concentrate for long enough to be able to it but I guess that there was more to it than that like i found it hard to believe what it said god thought about me. When I read about God loving me i found it really hard to believe that it actually ment me.

I don't like myself never have done really. I guess the main thing is self esteem when i said ppl were getting at me is because ive started cutting again and I'm not eating properly...
