Ever heard of hospice care? It is very inexpensive to treat people on hospice and they die with some dignity.

What about in 10-20 years, when there won't be enough
doctors and nurses, much less space for all the old folks?

Given that old people vote, I can't see mandatory euthanasia ever becoming a thing in any valid democracy.
