Sorry, no.
It was a book in the mid 60s and a movie from the 70s.

It took place in a post-apocalyptic city that was under a huge dome. Everyone, except for maintenance workers and "sandmen" or police, were kept inside at all times. To keep everything in balance, everyone had to show up to "Carousel" on their 30th birthday to be killed. "recycled."

Logan (Michael York) and a friend were sandmen and approaching 30 so they decided to become "runners" meaning that they left the dome and sought outside for some mythical "sanctuary."

That's downright scary.

Indeed. But it was a great movie. Michael York was "Logan." It also had Farrah Faucet and Peter Ustinov.

Ever heard of hospice care? It is very inexpensive to treat people on hospice and they die with some dignity.

What about in 10-20 years, when there won't be enough
doctors and nurses, much less space for all the old folks?
