Should the SDA Forum Be Split?

I am trying to figure out the purpose of this submission. The rules of the polls are relatively clear. It is common for individuals to belong to a variety of forums and to be more active in some than in others. If bring out the vote efforts are launched from one site or another those who respond still have to meet the requirements of the poll. Why would the mods of CF be concerned whether they share membership lists with BSDA, atomorrow, ClubAdventist or AtheistsforJesus?

I think she is trying to say that someone is recruiting members to ensure their vote goes a certain way... not a violation, but interesting....

yeah we were here for a while, and the initial split into subforums was because of our participation.... some felt then as they do now that we were not true adventists.... it is clear from all that has transpired that some continue to feel that way....

Now I understand were the initial split came from, but as you can see there is not really a need for a divide, we all discuss and debate at BSDA and disagree but still care for each other at the end of the day, we have set aside the hate and racor for the most part and get along. Why cannot this be so here......

didn't you see what Speak Now said though, she said not all black people are progressive. So it seems she wants it to be known that she is not progressive and would like for things to be more traditional..... that's how I read her....

I quess because there is no such thing, every single person is accountable for what they do, not the church, and no one can say I am a "true adventist" thus I am saved. It means nothing, now if you say I am a "true believer" in the Lord Jesus Christ, eternal life is much closer......

Now this makes a whole lot of sense, doesn't it? I am pegged as the ringleader for a hostile takeover from the TSDA's when I am probably the only non-traditionalist who voted for a split forum. It seems it would be only common sense to assume that my vote should clearly show what I 'want' for this forum, but that appears too much to ask from some people.

My desire is not for a Progressive-dominated blended forum. My desire is for our own private forum and a Traditional private forum.

Since it seems the vote is for blended forums, this is all moot anyhow.

Or maybe the poll was invalid to start with. I don't even know what is what anymore.

Where has Tall been in all of this? He was the one who officially orchestrated Woob's poll in the first place.

This sickens me to the core! I guess Ice's underground campaign has worked. I know he he sent e-mails to ALL registered SDA's. I thought only REGULARS were allowed to vote. Moicheri's vote should NOT count--Ice recruited him here just to vote against us.

This is why you need to pay more careful attention to what you think works in your favor. The poll did not require that those who have the SDA icon be regulars. It did not even require that they had visited the forum previously. You assumed wrongly.

it is not the progressives that should be afraid. it is the traditionals that should be afraid. do you know what will happen if the progressives get there own forum? the Conservative will not be able to control it and people might walk away from it the SDA chruch. that is dangerous.

I just wanted to let everyone know that I've received several messages from BlackSDA.com to come here if I used to be a registered member before 7-4-07. I was told to come vote and stack the deck in favor of the Progressives.

Obviously they didn't figure out that my name there isn't the same as it is here.

So surprise. Not all black people go with the label of "progressive" and I'm going to alert the mods of the campaign to get others to come over here and vote.

This is truly ridiculous and childish! You guys don't know how to lose. If the mods want a list of people that came directly over from BSDA, just ask me, I know every one of them that have voted, including one that isn't being honest about who he is.
