  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

You're only hearing that because you are not listening carefully. Some voter ID laws are bad because they are being imposed by people who think it will be harder for some groups to get them than others.
Okay.

Your 11 year old never had a right to vote; he isn't losing anything. American citizens, whether they own property or not, have a right to vote. They are enfranchised. If you take away non-property owners' right to vote, then they become disenfranchised.
No, because it will no longer be legal. Disenfranchisement is denying something from someone who has the right to it.

The costitution gives non-property owners the right to vote. Making a law that would prevent non-property owners from voting would be a perfect example of disenfranchisement.

The feminist movement has done much damage to this country. They took us from a country of families to a country of individuals. That’s not even close to biblical, and it worked. We have legalized abortion because of the women’s suffrage movement, a movement that a large percentage of women were against.

So yes, this needs to go.
This country was NOT founded as a Christian nation and frankly unless people are crazy you would not want a "Christian" nation why? because EVERY time a government based on relgion has been tried in this fallen world it has failed BADLY. I may respond more later I am leaving the house now.

Where does it do that?

It was, and you’ll either have God’s laws or Satan’s.

God is capable of enforcing His laws when He chooses, as the Bible clearly shows us. In the meantime, God's law requires us to evangelize non-Christians, not condemn or punish them.

In poor neighborhoods they are less likely to own a car.

The distinction is that last minute ID laws are more likely to impact poor people. in some parts of the country poor people are more likely to be racial minorities.
Have there been any lawsuits over this? I couldn't find anything, but I might not be entering the right search terms.

It won’t happen, most likely. I’m just giving my opinion.
That's all we are doing. Finding out what sort of views people have. And your view is that there should be no democracy.

Actually, several of the founders were DEISTS. This would mean that it waas not founded as a CHRISTIAN nation as several of the founders did not consider themselves Christians.

As to God's law or Satan's is that sggesting people who are not Christians cannot be trusted. There are millions of people in this world who do not claim to be Christians who are very trustworthy and follow man's law.

Feminism was penned by Satan. The Man is the head of the Woman for a reason.
and what happens if a man either A is not a provider B is abusive or just leaves the woman women need to have some abilities to provide for themselves does not mean that it is not an ideal situation for the man to be the head of household but sometimes that is just not the case.

Do you think Jesus intended no-fault divorce, sexual “freedom”, and abortion on demand to occur? Because those are the fruits of feminism.
Anything can go too far one can not support abortion or demand and still feel that women should in most respects be equal to men in as far as rights and opportunities.

If men had taken responsibility and kept their pants on, those 16,000,000 would have never been conceived. Let’s finally lay responsibility where it belongs.

That’s what abortion is all about.
depends There are many women that have children and seek an abortion. There are also many a woman that gets an abortion early in life and later go on to want and have children. Just because a woman has or has had an abortion does not mean that she wants no more births

At this point I’m not surprised that you’ve taken such a worldly, anti-biblical stance.
Not everyone is a Christian and I will just be honest I canot stand when people treat it as if Christians are the "only ones on the block" and feel that a country should be a "Christian nation". We are not the only ones here and honestly people who wish that were either have not read history or think we are "better" than history which has repeatedly been shown to not be the case.
