Who is making it an issue. If we did anything it should be a civics test for voters.
Now that I agree with or either some type of test where people match postition with the candidate.

That's the issue with the "patchwork style" laws we have in the US surrounding age.

Age to be "tried as an adult in court for heinous crimes" as low as 14.
Age of consent 16
Age to see certain movies 17
Age to see the "really naughty movies" 18 in some states, 21 in others
Age for military service, voting, marriage, 18
Age for tobacco and alcohol, 21 (though it used to vary by state)
Age to be a house rep, 25
Age to be a senator, 30
Age to be president, 35

The way Canada does it is much cleaner. 19 - you're an adult and can do all of it. I think 19 is too young for some of that stuff, but at least they're consistent.
Actually, the age to be tried as an adult ranges from no minimim to sixteen.

it takes two
Since the usual trope is “ she should keep her legs closed” I’m just turning things around. A man is fertile 24/7/365. A woman a couple days a month. Clearly men should be more responsible with their deposits.

You don't have to have a bad marriage. Infidelity and abuse are the only reasons to end a marriage. Most all other reasons are just excuses.
I agree, but at the same time the abuse should not have to be phasical to qualify. Abuse can take other forms besies just beating one's wife. To be clear I am not suggesting that that is what you meant, but it is much harder to prove emotional/verbal abuse ECT that it is phasical abuse which is the benefit to no-fault doivice. Like anything it can be taken too far and/or abused.

So you are good with women taking jobs from men who need to provide for their families. This just gets worse and worse.
Yes, not all men work and at this point there are MILLIONS of women working which means there would be millions of unfilled jobs.

Thank you. What you said previously was "Conservative state legislatures have sometimes attempted to pass ID laws at the last minute before an election that they think will impact black people more than white people." I perused those cases and found no evidence for that.

For example, the Wisconsin case basically had to do with clerical errors, and they even featured photos of a white woman and a man who might possibly be black. The Texas case did find that a small portion of minorities were adversely affected, but did not conclude that there was any intent to do that on the part of the legislature. So why do you conclude that there was racist intent?

It wasn’t satirical when it was being promoted. A lot of women were actually against women suffrage.
Well, if those women do not want women suffafe they are free not to vote. No one is saying that people should HAVE to vote.

How did society function prior to the late 1800s?

Oh that’s right. It did just fine.
Well, that depends on how one defines fine. There are certainly aspects that were probably better, but there were also respects in which it was worse ( that by the way had NOTHING to do with women's rights.

Actually, the age to be tired as an adult ranges from no minimim to sixteen.
I was never tired before I was sixteen. As an adult many decades later, I'm always tired. :)

ROFL! Sorry.

Are you saying because 140 years ago when the us population was 1/6 of now and a far more rural population, CAN AND SHOULD compare to our current circumstances in any function.

I think the only people who should vote should be people who live in apartments.
The only people who should vote or those who can pass a civics test or otherwise are able to prove they are informed voters.

The Word of God is clear on this. You are free to peruse it at your discretion. Women should not hold such positions.
This country was NOT founded on the Bible and as I have said I do not believe you would want that if you read history as when a government based on relgion has consistantly failed BADLY in this fallen world.

No, because it will no longer be legal. Disenfranchisement is denying something from someone who has the right to it.
an 11 year old never had the right to vote.

Who gets to decide what being informed looks like?

I'm closer to agreeing with that.

I like the idea of passing an empathy test.
