Hi Daro, thanks for opening this thread.

My answer to your question is YES, we should vote. But we should vote intelligently as well.

Over the past several elections, I have not voted main stream. I vote the Constitutionist party usually.

But this year, I am breaking ranks and voting for Ron Paul. I don't agree with his immigration policy. But everything else he stands for is right up my alley.

Namely, get rid of the IRS and get back to a Constitutional government.

Was it DL that posted all those remarks from past leaders? Well--I agree with all of them.

The Bush and Clinton administrations have decimated our Constitution. Almost all of the laws passed over the past 100yrs are ‘illegal’, because they do violence to the Supreme Law of the land.

But having said all that-I know it’s a dream. The evil-doers (our leaders-“chock’ chock’) have everything wrapped us so tightly, that it would be near impossible to remedy it now. Oh yes, we have had small victories (as in defeating that horrid amnesty bill), but over all, the American ppl are no longer free. Freedom now is just an illusion. And then, not even a good one.

And here I was getting all warm fuzzies over Hilary and her plan to open the borders so she can win the immigrant vote. I guess its time to lock down the borders, and clear out all the immigrants. Only the true inhabitants will take over the land, the Native Americans, the real owners of this great country and your local casino and slot machine palace........;)

lol--Well Red-what happened to the Indians is EXACTLY why we need to close those borders. Uncontrolled migration is hazardous to a nations health.

As far as Hilary--God help us if she and her henchmen ever get in the White house. Her husband and the Bushes want that North American Union so bad they can taste it.

I believe Sunday laws are coming(actually they are already in place but they are not being enforced yet) but Sunday laws in of itself means nothing. I mean if they pass a law that says I must rest on Sunday it is no big deal to me I will just rest two days a week.

But if they pass anti-Sabbath laws forcing me to break the law that is a different matter. It is what caused the plagues to come in Moses' day. Pharoah passed anti-Sabbath laws and God responded by sorting him out with plagues. It will be the same just before the end time plagues.

It just bothers me that if Babylon is now everywhere and it controlls the election outcomes(I believe the US presidental elections have been rigged for the last 100 years, I am also beginning to believe our UK elections are going the same way) then aren't we part of the system if we vote in their elections?

One poster said I was paranoid. Yes, maybes I do sometimes come across like that but I am not. I am actually happy because it means that Jesus is returning very soon and will take us all home. I say to the NWO(or whatever you want to call them/it) get on with it, get it over and done with and then we can go home.

I thought what I wrote was plain and clear?

In Exodus chapter 5 the king of Egypt gets annoyed that the children of Israel are resting(sabbath keeping) from their labours and increases their workload. God responds with the 10 plagues.

Same thing happens at the very end of this world/age.

You are completely misinterpreting a rather clear account. This is embarassing. I suggest you read that story for yourself. I hope you did not come up with that strained interpretation on your own.

Pardon?

And the king of Egypt said unto them, Wherefore do ye, Moses and Aaron, let the people from their works? get you unto your burdens. And Pharaoh said, Behold, the people of the land now [are] many, and ye make them rest(shabath (Strong's H7673*)) from their burdens. And Pharaoh commanded the same day the taskmasters of the people, and their officers, saying, Ye shall no more give the people straw to make brick, as heretofore: let them go and gather straw for themselves. And the tale of the bricks, which they did make heretofore, ye shall lay upon them; ye shall not diminish [ought] thereof: for they [be] idle; therefore they cry, saying, Let us go [and] sacrifice to our God. Let there more work be laid upon the men, that they may labour therein; and let them not regard vain words. Exodus 5:4-9

shabath (Strong's H7673)
1) to cease, desist, rest
a) (Qal)
1) to cease
2) to rest, desist (from labour)
b) (Niphal) to cease
c) (Hiphil)
1) to cause to cease, put an end to
2) to exterminate, destroy
3) to cause to desist from
4) to remove
5) to cause to fail
2) (Qal) to keep or observe the sabbath

I was also shocked by that statement, but I had to convince myself I merely misread it.

I still want to give her the benefit of the doubt, and so I will assume it was not meant to be taken that way.

Perhaps an explanation will clarify things...

Daro, the word for rest is shabbath. This does not mean that Israel was keeping the Sabbath. According to you they suddenly decided to keep the Sabbath. That makes no sense.
The Israelites had forgotton about the Sabbath so Moses when he returned from Midian had a meeting with the elders of Israel and told them to keep the seventh day holy.

I see.... so Moses knew to keep the sabbath? While he was tending sheep and such he kept the sabbath? Then the idea occurred to him that he needed to tell the Hebrews to keep the sabbath?

I am wondering, Did Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, and those first transplants to Egypt keep the sabbath?

Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Joseph all kept the law of God, that includes the Sabbath. It does appear that from the time Israel went into Egypt until the time Moses lead them out that they had forgotton about the Sabbath and God told Moses about the Sabbath and Moses told the children of Israel.

Don't you find it strange that they forgot about the Sabbath all that time and God never considered them not to be His people but you would have us to believe that not keeping the Sabbath is the mark of the beast? Your theory is fundamentally flawed.
