Should Christians play video games?

Should Christians do ... (fill in the blanks)? You must be led by the Spirit of God. There are things that are black and white, things that clearly violate scripture - stay away from these things as not to do so, is sin. If it is a gray matter then you need to follow your convictions before God.

I don't see an issue with them in general. Although the violence and bad language i don't agree with. And as the bible says. In moderation..

Should a Christian play video games? What are your opinions? If they are violent and dis-regard the will of God then what about non violent video games? And if they are time consuming and something that you'd do all day and put it before God then what about spending partial time of your day playing them? I'm not stating that i play video games all day or anything or looking for a argument i would just like to know your opinion.

We need to stay away from unchristian video games that promote violence, sexism, sexual immorality, and the like. I see no problem with playing something like PacMan so long as it doesnt get your anger up which can happen. It would be nice to see a video game that is distinctly Christian ..maybe like casting demons out of people on the screen / going with Jesus on his many travels / etc.. Maybe there are christian videos (??)
