I always thought "God is not properly glorified if Hell is eternal" was an argument for annihilationism/univeralism, as it implies you can commit a sin this allegedly all powerful God can't punish you enough for and that the enemies of God are never really destroyed, just left under eternal siege.
Yeah, I'm basically of the opinion that any argument centred around a hypothetical scenario being something God is "not properly glorified through" is complete rubbish. Doesn't matter what side they're on. It contradicts God's fundamental nature and is philosophically untenable.
