CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I'm sorry...but I sort of find that funny that people would leave. ^^; Maybe I'm not as up on what would be the problem of it if CF got them. What makes it any different then celebrating Halloween?

that's pretty pathetic. this is one of the reasons that christians annoy me sometimes. if something isn't godly and holy it becomes a huge deal. *shakes head* so what if there's vampire fangs, there's already swords and numorous other items that could be used to 'draw blood'. and that one girl who said she'd pray for you. that's nice and all but just because someone has a more open mind than you doesn't mean that you have to pray for them. jeez, i hope this doesn't happen to the sharingan thread...

I get that a lot - one lady in my church told my sister she needed to pray over me to rid the demons because I had a dragon poster in my roomYou just get used to it...
that's sad. people that do that make me glad i'm agnostic.

it's fine. i used to think that everyone was a christian too. but there's so many athetists in the ethics and morality forum, i love it there! 
i actually was a christian for most of my life but a few months ago i started to wonder about religions and sins and stuff and now i'm not so sure that i am a christian or that i want to be one. i'm probably the first person to start going to cf as a christian and end up a.... what do you call an agnostic person? agnostian? agnostist? hmm, i should probably figure that out... ^^' and no questions here. i'm content with my beliefs, for now anyway.
