Sharing Scripture

This is the same Scripture I posted before but it really means alot to me.

My best friend is a poet who until last week had never used his gift to glorify God. He wrote a piece titled Creator. It was beautiful. On Saturday he had the opportunity to read it at our church's evening of poetry, prose and worship. He was nervous and didn't have much confidence in his piece given that no one really applauded at rehersals. I shared Isaiah 60:1 with him before the event but it wasn't until that evening that he recognised that when you glorify God He'll take care of you. He stood up and spoke; wow...not a hint of nervousness. He voice was clear, steady, true. I saw people sit up and listen. He surprised them because, as i said, he'd never used his talent before. It was wonderful. I'm thankful to God for His everlasting love and mercy!

Arise, Shine for your light has come and the glory of the LORD is upon you!

The sermon on the mount and the Beatitudes have always inspired me! Matthew 6:25-34 25 "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? 28 "And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow.
