I took this picture in North Carolina but that's not where I live. I think I was near Fort Fisher.

What can I say? I may like things to look peaceful but Im still a guy..... tools are valid decoration as a bachelor.

Yes, its a sword. A non functional decoration (unlike the fully functional sword I posted earlier), but it could still do the job in a pinch if needed.

Thank you, I am rebuilding my possessions of this world. I threw away just about everything for a fresh start. I got rid of just about all the excess clutter and now everything is cleaner, more organized.

I figured, if I am rebuilding I may as well paint my apt. too. So I filled all holes, fixed cracks in the baseboards, etc. then painted and hung things.

Knives are fine, but swords are more my thing. KA-Bars are good knives , however. Not my style as far as carrying goes. If I have to ditch a sword for a knife, I prefer the more slimmer knife to a bowie style. I have swords and knives of all types. The one I carry on me most is a cheap folder (at work, if I lose it, no big deal) The prized blades are in storage for safe keeping. The stuff on the walls and left out are simply the ones I dont care about so much. (As they are cheap in comparison or simply non functional)

I REALLY want to find another functional (albeit impractical) butterfly. My old one broke, I had it since I was 8 so it was a sad day.I still miss sitting around, just flipping the thing around.

It's beautiful. Looks so serene. Did you take the photos? I agree about the Great Lakes. I live right between Lake Erie and Lake Ontario.
