DO you know this is a Stage forum... and most of the Threads are about Musicals.... actually i think they all are! shock horror! so i thought it was about time that we had a thread to a great playright that everyone knows! Mr William Shakespeare. was he a Sir?? anyway anyone like/loathe Shakespeare? i like him, and i think most of his plays are great. so favourites??

But it can drive some further away. I won't read Shakespeare, normally, unless I'm doing the show, because I have trouble understanding it, so I need it performed to appreciate it, really... I saw Timothy West in King Lear- he was amazing!
