My wife also had huge anxiety attacks/ panic attacks.

It would come on, at the weirdest times, like a Sunday afternoon on a very nice day, just before we were going to go for a walk.

I'm sure some of you can relate?

This started happening with a greater frequency and was now causing heart complications.
We were only young in our marriage and she was never like this when we dated or in the earliest of years.

Why???

She would wake in the middle of the night screaming!
That would cause me to jump not only out of bed, but out of my skin - it freaked me out!

It was getting worse, and it started to limit what she /we would do or go.
Note: Fear reduces life, Fear takes/erodes your life and the lives of others around you.

Much prayer went on. I laid hands on her & prayed..and like you prayed...and prayed..and prayed...
Luke 13:13

She got seemingly better, only to go worse.

The LORD spoke to me "I don't give you the spirit of fear"

At that moment, I realized that 'fear wasn't a medical thing, but a spirit'. (see 2nd Timothy 1:7)

She ended up in a hospital. They did a battery of tests, and couldn't find exactly what was wrong. Of course they can't find anything it is spirit and not flesh.

Sure they gave her some meds to take, but we couldn't get around the fact that it was 'spirit' and not a fleshly/bodily problem.

One night she awoke, in the middle, screaming like the worst possible.

I turned the light on, and she said "I see it".
"See what?" my words...

She saw the 'spirit of fear' (in a dream/ or in a vision, I don't know, cause I didn't see it, but know she saw something!)

It's true..like the LORD your GOD & CHAMPION called it; "a spirit of fear".

What happened?

She started to believe the Gospel - which means 'GOOD NEWS'
and we started to command the devil and spirit of fear to get out in JESUS name.
Note: we were already believers, but we all tend to forget the GRACE and start to go under the law of churchianity and forget that its about HIS LOVE and that's it!

Christian Religion is the biggest problem to allow the enemy in.

Its back to GRACE..back to the simple things of CHRIST...

Its knowing that your sins are forgiven right where you are.
Its knowing that nothing can separate you from HIS LOVE - nothing, no where, no how!
Its knowing its a spiritual problem, and you have the power to drive it out.
Its knowing that GOD is absolutely crazy about you - even if you never go to church, read your bible or pray again!

its all based on HIS LOVE in JESUS not your performance or your love.

Like a child or newborn - its not based on their love, but Mothers love - right?

I guarantee this is the solution to all your fears.
It is true that "HE delivers me from all my fears" Psalm 34:4

You must learn or re-learn GRACE and Un-conditional LOVE.
My wife and I are part of a home church here, and we've seen many others who have struggled with the spirit of fear as well.
One lady would only go to work and then rush home, just to sit on the corner of her couch every night - but today, she is freed!
One guy, couldn't drive his car alone - even down the street - but today, he is freed!
My own wife is now 100% freed by the POWER that works through LOVE, of the LORD JESUS.

We are in the middle of helping a family that is plagued by fears, one young guy would take 8 hour showers trying to 'right himself/clean himself' and emptying the hot water tank too!

Another girl couldn't wear certain colours and then not eat certain foods - only it eroded, got worse, and she can now only wear black and eat /drink water and rice - i mean the devil will have you eating nothing and wearing nothing if you let him. Remember the demoniac with no clothes, living in the barren place? Luke 8:27

P.S. She (my wife) never took the meds, they are in a bottle still sealed, on our fridge as a ever present reminder that GOD is in the delivery business and saving business. That is HIS only business! (2 Corinthians 1:10) - That was years ago, and she is 100% freed by HIM, by LOVE.

I would advise you to keep away from the meds. You struggling with watching tv and reading mags is quite normal. I avoid certain programmes on tv and I never buy a newspaper or magazine. When I was viewing something on the internet that I knew was wrong I felt God watching what I was doing over my shoulder. I immediately came off that site. I was not filled with fear but was aware God wasnt happy with me as He knew it would corrupt me and send me onto that path of distruction.

God loves you very much. People have been watching tv and reading mags for years but when you become part of Gods family you start to understand what God wants for you in your life. When Jesus was born there was no tv or magazines to watch or read. This is man's doing, not God's. Most of what we have out of greed is man's doing.

There is nothing wrong with you. All I know and feel is that God is wanting you to do something with your life right now. The more you give yourself to God, the more you will be like Him.

Tv is bad, magazines show us false images of what we should be like and what we should wear. Its all rubbish.
I am comfortable in myself because no matter what, God loves me. When God tells you 'not to fear, then you do not fear. When you start believing that God can help you with anything, then you will get through anything.

Let Jesus hold your hand daily and let Him guide you. If something doesnt feel right to you or you have any doubt, then dont go there. Speak to Jesus, He is always there to listen to you.

NEVER follow what other men do. Listen to God ONLY.

If you are ever feeling convicted towards something in your life and it doesnt feel right, then just walk away from it. I do and I feel blessed. x

What a beautiful story of God's Love for us all. Thank you so much for sharing this with us. It sure reminded me of God's eternal love for us. He cares so much. Only God could do this for your wife.

I suffer from SEVERE ANXIETY and I'm scared doing the things I use to do like watch tv, read magazines being able to relax. Just because I think God doesn't approve of those things, but I don't see myself being able to stop this things because they make me happy. What advise can y'all give me?

Advice :

1. Christians are given something called 'FREEDOM IN CHRIST" . That is, to partake in many various things so long as they dont cross moral , ethical, and spiritual boundaries. They are for our own good and to maintain a healthy relaitonship with Christ.

2. I would make a list of things which The BIble AND Gods character, nature, person would be opposed to...then determine you will stay far away from them. This might get your list started : Sexual stimuli on TV, Movies, DVD's, Concerts, etc..which dulls sexual purity in you / discern the lyrics in songs you listen to and pay attention to sexual immoral or rebellious messages / stay away from anything pornographic / stay away from secular psychology magazines or philosophies since they are seldom founded on Christ / choose your Friends wisely...and hang with some good seasoned Christians regularly who can sharpen you and you them / concentrate on thoughts of purity, things that are noble, great, awesome, and God honoring instead of dredging up garbage thoughts and gutter thinking.

3. Make a list of things that you can partake in that brings Glory to God, is uplifting to your Christian Walk, helps Others, maybe volunteer some of your time, put on good christian music with good messages, watch christian TV more, read the Bible more, and generally....rejoice, pray, bear every good fruit, and grow in your knowledge of God .

4. WHen you staRt getting feelings of guilt, remember that it is Satan who is the ACCUSER of the Bretherun and he uses this method to get us down and less effective for God. Stand against those attacks by becoming proficient with the Armour of God found in Ephesians chapt. 6. Get a book on using spiritual warfare to overcome the enemy .

5. Sit down with your Pastor and tell him everything to do with your issue.
